Maintains a feminine body without losing certain muscles?

This a little complicated of a question but I'm sure someone here can answer it.I haven't started any type of HRT yet and don't expect to until I turn 18 (15.5 now). I also shoot archery and don't want to quit, so I need to maintain certain muscles to a certain degree (I believe the main muscle is called the trapezius). But also I want to do everything I can to start developing a more feminine figure. I have a little bit of fat in my stomach area, but naturally have almost a six pack without ever really working on it. Are there any foods specially that I should avoid, or is just a "healthy diet" and watching my calories, sodium intake and all that stuff enough? And when I do start HRT will I be able to keep shooting without losing the muscles I need, or somehow counteracting the effects of HRT by producing more testosterone?

Sorry it looks like I screwed up the title a little bit. Lol...Should have been more like "Gaining a feminine body while maintains some muscles?"

Plenty of women shoot archery. As long as you're getting a sensible amount of exercise and practice, the hormones will do their thing but you'll keep muscle you're really using What weight bow do you use? If it's on the heavy end you may want to go lighter. If it's not more than a 35lb. draw, you should be able to maintain, I think. I know women who shoot bows that heavy.

Talk to your doctor or maybe a trainer or physical therapist.

Many women are often as strong as many men, particularly in modern society where men are often at desk jobs and such. Female muscles tend to be thinner, sleeker, yet can still handle large weights, high stresses, etc. As for whether certain types of exercise would induce more testosterone production, I'd say talk to your endocrinologist, but I am not aware of that being the case.

There is research last year that short term exposure to T in female mice allows them to regrow muscle much quicker later in life. It backs up research that shows power lifters who doped had an advantage years after they quit.

So I'd guess if you keep working it, you'd be fine.

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
