My wife is Allowing something She Originally Said no to

Guest

Recommended Posts

When I started shaving my chest and southern region, my wife said no shaving of legs, arms or pits.

Well, she changed it to no arms or pits. I used my beard trimmer to shorten the hair then waited a a couple days. Once the wife got used to that, I used my brand new lady foil shaver which worked extremely well, today. Waiting to see if she even notices when she gets home from work today. :)

Also, she showered me with many gifts upon my return from Asia yesterday. More undies and a long sun-dress sort of thing and leggings and cami and a couple pretty tops.

I can't even convey how this is making me feel......

I'm glad you are getting some support and that your wife is so happy to have you home. Hopefully you brought her some presents as well.

Hugs, Charlize

I had many moments like this, telling my spouse I wouldn't be okay with something and honestly believing it, then some time going by where I'd gotten used to things and/or had some of my own introspection and finding, I'm actually okay. Baby steps forward.

So happy for you!!

That is really nice Fiona :)

I don't have any problems with shaving being accepted but I would never get female clothes as presents. I was surprised on my birthday to get a feminine flower pattern shirt! That was really good though as the thought was there.

Little by little - that seems the way.

I hope you settle back in at home Ok

My beloved spouse, after Georgia's "discovery" accepted all my wonderful wardrobe and actually wears my best dresses and gowns and coats with lovely charm.

But still can't stand my second (or first?) nature...

All my envy and hugs to Fiona !

For as much as I hate shopping, it really should be loathe, I love to shop for my wife. I enjoy buying him girly, frilly things and super feminine shoes. In an odd way, I almost feel like I can live vicariously through him - which is odd because I am the farthest thing from feminine. At first I thought the body hair shaving would be off putting to me, but I love feeling how soft his skin is and now I prefer that he shaves. So glad your wife is accepting and embracing who you are!

My wife and I have gone shopping a few times and what I noticed is that while I hate shopping for male clothes (I always wear black jeans or shorts and black T-shirts), hate shopping. Shopping for my Fiona clothes, I could be out all day. All the pretty undies and dresses and skirts as well as cosmetics. Just not enough time or money for it all. :)

She has bought both online and in stores for me in my absence, and in fact, I've had to rein her in from making us poor. LOL

Yeah, she's loving my lack of body hair more and more, but she's still not OK with me shaving my mustache & goatee or arm hair. Maybe in time. :)

Thanks, Alicia.

Very similar story here. She originally said no to shaving, now I shave all hair off my body except for my head. Also used to fuss at me when I let my nails get long, now not so much. I have always said, baby steps are the best way to gain acceptance if not approval.

She never buys me things, but doesn't seem to get upset when I buy things for myself. We have gone shopping together in the past and have picked up some skirts and tops for me. Been awhile since that has happened though. Maybe with her new attitude towards me and crossdresser get, that might change as well.
