Sudden Fear - or the Joys of Being Imperfect Androgyne

Today I was answering the call of nature and was dressed very feminine with knitted dress and leggings plus women's quilted jacket. I was in the men's stalls.

I suddenly had a great fear that I was really in the wrong place and likely attract great attention when I came out so I waited until I could hear no sound until I came out.

These days I feel very natural in my feminine clothing such that I can move to and fro around dress shops etc without generally attracting attention but, although I am often pass as female I do not pass close scrutiny.

As such I would be wary of womens and as I mentioned above male toilets are also becoming a no no. To cap this I had a bit of an experience recently at the local hospital where I had very bad looks from a disabled women as I came out of the disabled toilet (probably as I am able bodied)!

I suspect a great many others have this issue but sometimes I do think there are advantages for going the whole way to mtf (or ftm)

Well it does make life interesting :)

There are certainly advantages to being male or female and not in the middle. I know i was always concerned as i was moving between. Pity but we still have a society that is totally binary in most places. That may change but it is a good way in the future. At least in appearance we are pressured to make a decision. Pity.

Hugs,

Charlize

When I was driving myself and my sister to a GT appointment ( my sister is great for wanting to go with ) we pulled into a McDonald's to get coffee and to use the bathroom. As we got out of the car my sister said she wanted a coffee and I said I had to use the ladies room. This gave her a moment of pause, everything about me being new to her, and she said maybe she didn't have to go.... Well I told her to go ahead and that I could wait, which I could see was pleasing to her bladder. A few minutes later and she hops and the car and announces excitedly " you should have gone to the bathroom!" "And why was that?" I asked. "Because the men's was closed and the sign said everyone must use the ladies room :)" and to that she gave me just the brightest smile. It made me think, I wish everyplace had a unisex bathroom.

I find it confusing how almost everyone can accept a unisex bathroom (and mixed changing in cubicles at swimming pools) but under normal circumstances have issues! I had a work collegue complaining yesterday about women using the mens stall in our department and leaving the seat down. The ladies alongside is well used as there are far more women in the building so a queue is not unusual.

Why!

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
