Breast augmentation question(s)

I have a question for those of you ladies who have gone through breast augmentation:

Did you choose subglandular or submuscular placement? Please explain why you chose that location in your response. :)

I'm leaning towards subglandular but wanted input from people who have actually done this.

Also, does the price go up based on how many years experience the doctor has? I'm considering 3 in my area and they range from 15-33 years experience. One in particular also does GRS, so I'm wondering if maybe he would be the better choice since he most likely has more experience with the MTF body frame for implant placement and surgery. Your thoughts?

I'll most likely have more questions once I actually have a consultation or 3.

Thanks, ladies! :)

I don't have augments, but I'm heavily considering them regardless of what HRT gives me, but I would certainly opt for the GRS surgeon. As you said, he will likely have more experience with the MTF body frame, competence, complications, etc. He might even give you a discount if you have multiple surgeries with him.

Sometimes the more seasoned doctors charge more, but do a despicable job due to overconfidence or the use of shortcuts. Personally, I would charge more if I could get away with it (but still make sure to give them what they're paying for to the best of my ability) so I'm thinking yes in the more experience = more $$ mindset.

I hope my rambling has helped in some way. LOL

God Bless

Hi Lizzie

I went with the gummy bear silicone implants placed under the muscle. It gives you a smoother, more natural look as part of the implant is under the muscle. Expect to feel weak in the upper body area for a couple weeks. You really notice the weakness when you pull yourself up from a chair or get out of bed. I learned how much you rely on your chest muscles, but they only effect you for a couple of weeks. You will love your new silhouette. Kathy

Do all of the implant procedures require general anesthetic. I'm afraid my girls may not grow to reach what i would like. I can live with that but am beginning to consider augmentation. Unfortunately general anesthetic isn't recommended with my health issues. I would rather live with some chicken cutlet pads than die in the effort to be more natural but maybe it is possible under local?

Hugs,

Charlize

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
