Some questions used to be simple...

I joined a class, and the sign up sheet asks the usual. I'm out to the instructor:

Name? Dang, this is gonna be a hard class, I've been trying to figure this out for a while.

Sex? You mean now, or later? Ok, that came out wrong...

On the LGBT seniors group (as in AARP, not high school... survey:

L,G,B, other? Umm, I don't know, it's been 15 years! "Somewhere between asexual and pan" Should fit in there somewhere...

I want a life mate. Genitals optional.

Marital Status? well, my ex wife is deceased, so I'm going with Widower. Wait, Widowed? "Single Again"

When people ask, did your wife know? Better than I did, actually! After the split, she told friends "I went under the knife".

I insisted I was "factory original" I guess the new me will be like New Old Stock- unused, but has been on the shelf a while.

Talking to a men's chorus group: "so would you like to sing with us?" I'd love to, but I'm trans.

"Oh, you'll be fine". But it's a men's chorus. " Yes!" Actually, I'm going the other way, so it would be a brief engagement...

And it's my whole life, not just the trans stuff.

Occupation? What day is it?

I wear so many hats, I need a propeller beanie. With a strobeoscope to stop the motion.

I have to reverse the rotation frequently to equalize the neck strain. And I have to tie it down so it doesn't fly off with the wig.

Salary? I don't know! This accounting is a bit of a problem, and begs the question:

Are you nuts? Well, that seems to be the consensus opinion...

Life certainly does get interesting. Being trans* only adds to the "simplicity" of it all. One day at a time seems to get me through.

i try to keep that up and get this day done to the best of my ability.
