"When the Going Gets Tough"

Hi Everyone,

I've recently become a member of an online TG AA group that has been holding its meetings on Skype. Due primarily to increased attendance of late, the group has changed to Adobe Connect on a trial basis. Now realize, I am a fairly technologically challenged person. I spent the entire day yesterday trying to download the adobe connect app on my android phone. Arrrg! I tried, I tried, I tried again, over and over, proving the definition of insanity (trying the same thing over and over again looking for a different result). I finally got exasperated and decided to give up for the day and try to figure it out the next day. Just then my Higher Power stepped in. I heard a noise from my phone. All on it's own it had gone to a Google app that said "listening for music", whatever that meant. I closed the app and looked on the screen and saw there was sonme kind of a Google window. I hit it and the music thing did not appear. Adobe Connect did. With some fiddling with it and some help from the meeting chairperson I got it going and was able to participate in the meeting last night. Sometimes, when we've done all we can and can't go any further, our Higher Power will come along and do for us what we can not. That's the way it is with recovery from addiction. It's not an easy road, especially early on. But when we walk that road as far as we can, and can go no further, our Higher Power can pick us up and carry us. So when the going gets tough, we can keep going with a little help of our Higher Power.

I'm so glad you were able to make last night's meeting. We had to go to adobe as we have gotten too big for Skype. Stuart is great at helping out!
