Hormones, Breasts And Penis Size

Hey there ox.

Recently I've been having issues about breasts.

I have had Gender issues for about 2 years now, but ended up with the conclusion of thinking 'Its a gender... no point getting down about it'

Until the past few months, it's got to be pretty bad now, I would consider myself as Androgyne.

I've always fancied a female body, but at other times a male body.

The conclusion I came up with, is breasts.

I've had a thought which I've not changed about the genitals, which is;

The genitals you're born with work, keep it, don't get something that don't work.

I don't know the most reason stages in genital swaps, but I know it was/is true that you cannot get a fully functional genital organs. So, a MTF ending up giving birth, and have working ovaries with eggs and periods.

So I decided to actually keep my genitals, as I would like to be a dad later on in my life when being stable enough to do so.

What I decided that I would be perfectly happy with, is breasts.

I have been letting females go on Webcam, not for pervert reasons. They have breasts of course, and I feel like they should be on me instead.

It gets me down an awful lot.

I am 15, coming to 16, I'm going to wait atleast another 2 years or so before I actually get them, to make sure it is what I feel I should need.

The question I'm actually wanting to know the answer to.

As what I found out with female hormones, they develop breasts, but they also shrink the penis size, due to lack of testosterone. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

I would like to know, if I started hormones later on in the future, how I'd be able to keep my penis size without it shrinking at all?

Thank you.

I don't think there is a way to take estrogen and grow breasts without shrinking your penis. Also, after enough time, you'll become sterile from taking the hormones (I think about 3 months). It is possible that you just get implants... but I think you'll still need a little more skin in that area for implants to really work..

Well -we are not physicians nor are we therapists. What you ask for is an opinion which we can give, most of us basing on what we hear or what has happened to us.

You really need to talk with a gender dysphoria trained therapist before you do ANYTHING.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not get on illegal hormones - they are dangerous if unsupervised! You can have serious cardio-vascular damage, and you can destroy your liver.

That said - what you want? You want to be a virile male with breasts. OKAY - using hormones to grow breasts will have good and bad effects. I am MTF in transition - 4 1/2 months, so I speak from that experience. Taking enough hormones for breast development, essentiall chemically castrates you. The effects are pretty much permanent after awhile. That route also give you natural breast tissue, but it may not be what you are looking for, usually a cup size smaller than your genetic mother or female relatives. Many transpeople are okay with that - many want breast augmentation by surgery. And please understand you must be recommended by a therapist for HRT. Breast augmentation is usually simplier to obtain.

So do you simply have surgical breast augmentation? Perhaps - if you can get it. But understand these are not natural breasts. You will keep your verility though.

There is also an illegal breast-pumping technique - where nontrained people will give you commercial grade silicone injections - THESE ARE DEADLY, and they tend to migrate all over your body, sometimes straight to hour heart's blood supply. DEADLY remember

So what can be done? Well - wear breast prothesis - enhansers - silicone inserts.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your replies.

Yes, I would get referred for HRT if I were to do so.

Thing is with breasts, the only real way to get natural breasts is HRT right?

I want natural breasts, and its tricky..

I don't fancy the idea of breasts which dont feel natural.

It's a trade off. HRT is the only way to grow breasts naturally. The down side is, your genitals will atrophy, you will become sterile and your sexual libido will drop to very little or nothing. To receive HRT, you must see a gender therapist who, if he determines that you are transsexual, will write a letter of recommendation to a doctor for you to begin HRT. The doctor will probably insist on a full physical first to determine what hormones you can safely take. Taking hormones unsupervised can likely result in thrombosis, liver disease, stroke and heart attack. Are you willing to risk that? I'd think twice about this if I were you.

Dear Jeanie,

You do not have to face this all by yourself! That is what gender therapists are for. It is not your decision to take hormones, it is your doctor's. One step at a time dear, if you want to have a fully functioning penis then you do not want to take hormones! If your penis is just something that you need to change then talk to your doctor!! Breasts... well so many bio-women would like to have larger breasts!!

Take care and be smart about hormones, don't treat HRT as a hobbie!!

Even though you say nothing artificial or added you may try Breast Forms and walk around with that feeling for awhile..if you like that and you are happy with your genitalia think of implants a size A" would probably do..I've often fantasized about that myself..SHAKE PARTNER!!!

Breasts forms are quite costly... I've been looking.

As I mentioned for hormones (i think)

If I was to take them, I'd not do it on my own. It's not something that I'm going to get tomorrow.

I know about the affects, and I'm not willing to risk it.

I just asked a general question, to see what would be best at this moment...

Sorry if it never came across that way.

What If I were to do HRT, what about if I then went back onto testosterone after feeling satisfied with the boobs? What would happen there, would the verility come back etc.

Jeanie -

I have the same issue as you about breasts. I want them so badly but don't want HRT because I don't want to lose my male abilities but maybe one day I will change my mind. I would only do it under a doctor's supervision.

Maybe implants are the answer, but that makes it hard when I want to pass as male, like at the gym or swimming pool and such. I might get to the point where it would be worth it to have the implants.

Right now I have breast forms and I love them, I feel great when I wear them. I can get depressed though when I dwell too much on the fact that they aren't real and I want real ones.

I wish I had a good answer.

Some masculine characteristics would come back. You would still be sterile, but you would probably start growing hair again... hairy boobs...

"I love you so much,"  Lois said.  They met in the driveway. "I could not live without you." "Neither could I." "What are we going to do?" "Find another counselor?" "No. I think we need to solve this ourselves." "Do you think we can?" "I don't know.  But what I know is that I don't want to go through that again.  I think we have to hope we can find a solution." "Otherwise, despair." "Yeah.   Truce?" "Okay,  truce." And they hugged.   "When we know what we want we can figure out how to get there."   That began six years of angry battles, with Odie insisted he could dress as he pleased and Lois insisting it did not please her at all.  He told her she was not going to control him and she replied that she still had rights as a wife to a husband. Neither was willing to give in, neither was willing to quit, and their heated arguments ended in hugs and more.   They went to a Crossdressers' Club, where they hoped to meet other couples with the same problems, the same conflicts, and the same answers, if anyone had any.  It took them four tries before they settled on a group that they were both willing to participate in.  This was four couples their own age, each with a cross dressing husband and a wife who was dealing with it.  They met monthly.  It was led by a 'mediator' who wanted people to express how they felt about the situation.  Odie and Lois, as newcomers, got the floor, and the meeting was finally dismissed at 1:30 in the morning - it was supposed to be over at 10 - and everyone knew how they felt about the situation.   There was silence in the car on the way home.   "We aren't the only ones dealing with this." Odie finally said.   "Who would have thought that?  You are right."   "Somebody out there has a solution." "I hope you are right."   "I hope in hope, not in despair."   "That's my Odie."

The counseling session was heated, if you could call it a counseling session.  Sometimes Lois felt he was on Odie's side, and sometimes on hers.  When he was on her side, Odie got defensive. She found herself being defensive when it seemed they were ganging up on each other.   "This is not working," Lois said angrily, and walked out.  "Never again. I want my husband back. Dr. Smith you are complicit in this."   "What?" said Odie.   The counselor looked at him.  "You will have to learn some listening skills."   "That is it? Listening skills?  You just destroyed my marriage, and you told me I need to learn listening skills?"   Dr. Smith said calmly,"I think you both need to cool off."   Odie looked at him and walked out, saying "And you call yourself a counselor."   "Wait a minute."   "No."

I have read some of it, mostly in areas specifically targeted at the LGBTQ+ peoples.   You also have to take into account what and who is behind the words, not just the words themselves. Together that creates context, right? Let's take some examples, under the Department of Health & Human Services section:   "Radical actors inside and outside government are promoting harmful identity politics that replaces biological sex with subjective notions of “gender identity” and bases a person’s worth on his or her race, sex, or other identities. This destructive dogma, under the guise of “equity,” threatens American’s fundamental liberties as well as the health and well-being of children and adults alike."   or   "Families comprised of a married mother, father, and their children are the foundation of a well-ordered nation and healthy society. Unfortunately, family policies and programs under President Biden’s HHS are fraught with agenda items focusing on “LGBTQ+ equity,” subsidizing single-motherhood, disincentivizing work, and penalizing marriage. These policies should be repealed and replaced by policies that support the formation of stable, married, nuclear families."   From a wording perspective, who doesn't want to protect the health and well-being of Americans or think that families aren't good for America? But let's take a look at the author, Roger Severino. He's well-quoted to be against LGBTQ+ anything, has standard christian nationalist views, supports conversion therapy, etc.   So when he uses words like "threatens the health and well-being of children and adults alike" it's not about actual health, it's about enforcing cis-gendered ideology because he (and the rest of the Heritage Foundation) believe LGBTQ+ people and communities are harmful. Or when he invokes the family through the lens of, let's just say dog whistles including the "penalization of marriage" (how and where?!), he idealizes families involving marriage of a "biological male to a biological female" and associates LGBTQ+ family equity as something unhealthy.   Who are the radical actors? Who is telling people to be trans, gay, or queer in general? No one. The idea that there can be any sort of equity between LGBTQ+ people and "normal" cis people is abhorrent to the author, so the loaded language of radical/destructive/guise/threaten are used. Families that he believes are "good" are stable/well-ordered/healthy, specifically married/nuclear ones.   Start looking into intersectionality of oppression of non-privileged groups and how that affects the concept of the family and you will understand that these platitudes are thinly veiled wrappers for christian nationalist ideology.   What's wrong with equity for queer families, to allow them full rights as parents, who are bringing up smart and able children? Or single mothers who are working three jobs to get food on plates?

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?
