Endocrinologist on-line?

I would like to ask advise how to find an endocrinologist in Canada who accepts patient on-line/skype etc...?

Is such a service available? I live in a small town with limited services.

I've heard of online or skype therapists, but not Endos. that's not to say they don't exist, I just don't know. 

One plan I had in case I had trouble finding a local Endo was to travel to an appropriate trans clinic, be seen then see if they can work online as necessary. While at the same time finding a local Endo that is willing to work with you even though they might be inexperienced and have them speak with the clinic doctors.

However, I'll be curious to hear other stories......

Seems unlikely to me.  Unlike therapy which is talking a doctor/endo is going to want to do a physical exam.  Technically the doc can just refer for bloodwork, but that is only one element of an exam.

I would think that you won't find anyone who is safe and trustworthy.

 I have found that my visits to the Endo have become much less frequent; often once a year now.  That is pretty easy and even at a distance is quite acceptable.  It would most likely be best to do things in person even if you could do it on line.

You also don't necessarily need an endocrinologist. I would start by talking to your GP.

Although technically speaking, HRT only really needs informed consent, I wasn't aware that a GP would do it. But good point.

It took a while, but I followed your advise, Ravin! I don't know what will happen, but the doctor told me that he will find a way for me to start hormones. I am fearful though how my family will respond...but I really have to go ahead because I feel like just going crazy otherwise...
