Braun IPL

Just wondering if anyone had used the braun silk expert IPL

Its got great reviews.nearly bought it on black friday for £218.

I've used veet before but that left me itchy and after having forest legs for 15 years ish i hate letting me legs go longer than a week without shaving. So atm i'm spending 45-60mins a week shaving my legs.not that i mind.its great to put some tv on and spend an hour being girly

No I've never used one.  Seems expensive though.  I shave in the shower, I use hair conditioner and sit on the floor so there's no balance issues and I don't miss any spots.  I never have issues with itchy or blotchy skin.

Hello Natalie,

I have not used an ILP, but have the Tria. I've had some success with it. I've been on hrt with finisteride for just over 2 years. While my body hair now grows slowly (shave legs 2 to 3 times a week instead of daily) I have managed to use the tria to pretty much eliminate the hair on certain areas of my chest. I just don't use it enough. I also use it to help control facial hair. I still have issues with T, and constantly fight it. It slows it considerably..

I realize it wasn't what you asked, and it's more expensiive. Just thought I'd bring it up

Never heard of that either. Honestly, I don't really trust in those things actually working. So I just stick with shaving and spend about 45 minutes daily or every other day. I also only shave in the shower. I know, it's so much time but it's worth it for me (hairs trigger my GD and makes me feel so depressed).

I own some Nair too but the results aren't ever good enough.

Sorry but as lovely as this seems i doubt that the expense is at all justified.  Better to put the money into a professional session.

I have looked at these things, but the fact that they only appear to work well with certain hair colours etc puts me off. Very expensive gamble. As my hair is fairly fair I only need save my legs weekly and have been doing it so long that it takes minutes. It does take me toward an hour to do whole body though . I use an electric shaver (in fact several plus an epilator - each selected for their use on different areas), so far less risk of injury.

I've still not bought it. Ill wait a while i think. I've got the ideal legs though. Dark hair and very untanned legs. They've not seen the sun in a long time. They shall be doing this year though.ill just have to shave more regular
