I have issues with one of my vocal chords

Hi all

 

i have an issue with my vocal chords.  In 2015, I suffered back to back strokes which screwed with every thing on my left side of my body.  I have issue in my left foot with two surgeries so far.  It really affected my left shoulder with a frozen shoulder issue.  I'm having in a week manipulation of my shoulder under anesthesia.  And last issue is my left  v ocal chord is paralyzed from my strokes.

 

 I had taken voice feminization classes at the University of Missouri and had achieved a fairly good feminized voice by the end of classes.  Then my stroke came and my voice changed back to male range.   The ENT scoped my vocal chords and I was shocked at how my left chord was affected it had flopped over.  I've google this condition and it can be treated through surgery.   The VA choice program would be used to pay for feminization surgery.  We have two or more excellent vocal surgeons.  The VA will pay for issues where the patient has issues after a surgery or a treatment or a stroke.   I've  been waiting for my records from the University of Missouri  on my voice.   That will be used to justify repairing the damage to my vocal chords.  It's been frustrating waiting for them to fax my records.   I become eligible fore Medicare in January..   Then their is surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
