NJ's new Gov. will hopefully ease Birth Certificate process

Our legislature had repeated passed a bill to make getting a birth certificate changed to reflect gender but Christe vetoed it each time.  I'm hoping Gov Murphy will sign this.  It's interesting additionally because it will give a potential for a non gender specific classification.   Fingers crossed.

Wow! "For the fourth time in nearly five years, New Jersey lawmakers are pushing to make it easier to change the gender listed on a birth certificate."  They are a persistent bunch!

I think it is great!  Here is a photo of me at the State House shortly after the last veto.  I got to the protest early and the crowd actually grew a great deal.  We have a great deal of support in the state but Christe did as much harm as he could for years.
