Kenna thank you for your kind offer.  I downloaded your book yesterday and finished it this afternoon.  

 

I particularly enjoyed the piece on appearance.  So true!   Also like you, "I never grew up. I'm just a lot older."  

 

The line “After the movies, we'd stop for ice cream.  It came in a small cup with a lid you'd remove by pulling its tab” brought lots a memories.  I recall a similar product in New England made by Hood Dairy Company.  We called them Hoodsie Cups.  They were vanilla, chocolate, or a combination of both!   They are still available and I've bought them for my granddaughters.

 

As before I enjoy your writing.  I find your conversational style to be easy and pleasing to read.
