It was a good time, looking north toward the straight of Juan de Fuca a few days ago, had some great sunset shots, more coming...

Just getting the laundry done and sipping afternoon coffee, tastes great...

Well first Sunday opening the store in over 2 months. Feels good to get back.  Went out chasing trains yesterday. The Union Pacific restored Big Boy came through town. It was awesome to see the king of the rails under it own power running.

Having my first cup and a bowl of oatmeal, blue berries with maple syrup.  Mmmmm.  It's raining here again.  We had the wettest year in history last year and if this monsoon keeps up we may surpass it this year.  Everything is so green. The pastures are great but soon the parasites that affect the goats and like hot and wet will begin to cause some problems.  I'm off to the market in the rain today because it will be sunny tomorrow and there is a great deal to be done outside.

Hugs,

Charlize

Currently at my mom's place. I have a take home final to complete, and they have better internet connection than they do. That final and studying for one last in class final tomorrow will take up most of my Sunday. Only a few days to go before I can take a break!

I agree that everything is bright and vibrant green,  new grass, and leaf buds on the trees.  Soon the grass will need to be mowed and the luster will be gone.  I'm enjoying it now.

I agree the rain have been seemingly relentless.  Argh!

It sounds like you have been getting our rain over there as it has been the driest start to the year I remember. Luckily a bit now to help things grow. I hope you have a drier day today Charlize, and you enjoyed your ride Cyndee.

Good Morning All,

We got a lot of someone's rain yesterday. Over four inches of it in less than 12 hours

All your rain stayed west of us.  We could actually use some.  I shouldn't be allowed to go to the supermarket alone.  I came home with the essentials, cinnamon buns, potato chips and ice cream bars.  Oh well I did buy some real food too.

Good morning all, I am at work now sipping coffee, but it's going to be a great day out here in W WA, expected to be in the 70's today and later this week, into the 80's (warmest of the year so far).

Have a rockin' day

You've crossed the country Cyndee.  Hope you get some time to enjoy another cup of coffee doing some sight seeing.

I'll be working on blueberry netting and moving piles of manure for composting.  The latter sounds terrible but i really enjoy running the tractor.  Kinda like playing in the sandbox but bigger(and a bit grosser?).

Hugs,

Charlize, be glad you'e got the tractor. When I was a kid I had nothing but boots, gloves, and a shovel to spread manner on the garden.?

Lots of love,

nothing better than compost for fertilizing flowers and ornamentals.   Works great for new lawns too but not too much or it gets pretty messy.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Finally back to a schedule at work. Now on my weekend. SO, time to relax some, hopefully.

Dysphoria has been going into overdrive some. But I am keeping it somewhat at bay as best I can.

Have a great week all. Supposed to be great weather for us. 68 today. warmer later in the week. yeah.

Hi! Im about to make tea, and breakfast, coastal clouds during our "May Gray" days, it should clear up later. Listening to the traffic and planes landing near by, not loud, I kind of like the the light noise, and watching the planes go by. One story higher, and I could see the San Diego Bay out my window(s).

Im still smiling after my Dr visit yesterday, good news, I signed the "permission slip" to do the Orchie! A big baby step!

Today is a good day!

evening all. Well chalk this one as a bad day for me. First was late for my PT appointment but my therapist was open when I got there so I was able to get in. The rest of the day went some what OK. Dysphoria was mostly high today.

Then, once the wife got home from work we headed to Cheyenne to refinance our bike to get some extra cash. 4 blocks from the house, I wind up nailing a suburban in the rear. Of course nothing real damaged on the Suburban. However our Lincoln MKZ got the grill busted along with the bumper. As far as I can tell only cosmetic damage. Even driving it to Cheyenne and back with no operational problems. Drove fine.

I am still upset about it. but accidents do happen.

Hope the rest of you had a better day.

Hugs,

Kymmie

0610hrs: No coffee on yet, but the crows are awake. I love crows, so that doesn’t bother me. Now the morning doves are cooing. Of course it wouldn’t be the morning without people rushing by in the cars down the street. I’m at a friends house, in the east county of San Diego, helping her out with her twins. I love the two princesses, they are two incredibly silly and clever 4 year olds. They won’t be awake for another 1hrish, which will be about the time I put the coffee on...maybe a bit sooner that perhaps...I hope everyone else has as peaceful morning!

Wow that is a high number for Estradiol good grief! Testosterone levels are better than mine. I don't remember my Estradiol level but testosterone was 80. To me that is really high but it was in the two hundreds the check in before last one.

I don't understand why this would make a difference being a "dad" I mean, as far as how they would grow.
    • Ashley0616
I don't see why not. I have worn forms since I came out.

I have never worn breastforms, but I assume as long as they don't aggravate your nipples you could.

Every week I've been excited to take my shot, so it's never been an issue. Yesterday, however, I woke up and started my usual "slow roll" and then suddenly realized I had breakfast plans that I had to rush out the door for. After, it was straight into work calls, and then I got the notification from the doctor about things being too high and all the while my mind had completely slipped that I needed take my shot.   Given that I am not asking for medical advice, but sharing my journey, I will note my results: Estradiol at 447 pg/mL and Testosterone was 23 ng/dL, up and down from 26 pg/mL and 526 ng/dL respectively before treatment. Almost flipped the bit! The doc would like my Estradiol closer to 300 pg/mL, so we'll see what Monday's tests state.   Oh, and I teased the dinner with old soccer teammates and never updated the thread! It went well. There were a couple funny moments. One guy, who I was worried about their response, greeted me with "Hey, you've lost some weight!" 😎 And a friend who lives near me picked me up on the way to dinner exclaimed, after we learned one of the invitees might show up with a date, "Wait! We could have brought women?!" To which I instantly responded, "You kind of did, bringing me!" Everyone got a good laugh out of that. 😁

To me there isn't that much difference other the measurement, which side the zipper is on and men's pants have bigger pockets.

I hope this is not stupid question..I have yet to start n not sure if doc will approve..but once you start growing buds n such, can you still wear forms to get to the size you were?   I'm a dad, so when I start blossoms they will be smaller for a long time n probably need surgical augmented..that's fine. I don't want to go ddd to aa to ddd..   any ideas?   thank you

I like them too.  We had them growing up.  But my father's family were Swedes.

Oh my!  I guess it just goes to show how different tastes can be. Since we don't live near the ocean, Seafood is a rare luxury. We absolutely love pickled herring! Especially my husband and my GF, I guess it's a Ferman/Russian cultural thing.  But most of the kids like it too, and a jar wouldn't last in the pantry for long 😆
    • awkward-yet-sweet
I think the key to that is just not minding eating the same thing repeatedly. Since we produce a lot of our own food here, we end up eating what is in season at the moment. So, when the yellow squash is ripening, we end up fixing squash 20 different ways. When the strawberries are ready, we eat lots of strawberries. It's kind of a different mindset to eat in season when it has become such a part of American culture but the grocery store has everything we want all the time. Like grapes in December.  My family does even things out a little bit by having a greenhouse so we have some fresh things in the winter, but it's not a 100% fix.
    • KathyLauren
My brothers and I had to eat what was on the plate.  All of it, and nothing else.  Pickiness was not tolerated.  Some of our least favourite were liver and onions, sauerkraut, and especially rollmops (pickled herring).  We finally protested enough to persuade our mother not to serve rollmops, though she kept a jar in the pantry for years afterwards, as a threat if we didn't behave.

I'll go first.  My favorite team is the Yankees.  Loved them since I was a kid.  I was born in NYC so, yeah.  I know everyone loves to hate them, and that's OK.  I just love baseball in general.  It's a game of traditions, strategy, power, grace and skill.   Play Ball!!  ⚾   Carolyn Marie

I guess you do have a good point. It's just hard to try and not have the same meals over and over again.
    • Willow
Hi   I’ll weigh in on being picky about food.  Yes, and I was brought up that way.  We didn’t have to eat everything our parents ate.  They had a number of things they ate that they figured we wouldn’t eat, an acquired taste things or one or the other didn’t like them too.   even as an adult there are many things I won’t eat.  In my defense, there are different things my wife won’t eat.   the weird thing is that after being in E, my tastes have changed.  Sweet, sour, salty or bland, if I eat or drink too much of any one thing and I have to counter act it.   Willow
