Hey you Jani.....My goats only eat out of cans as well.  Tons of grain placed in them to keep the rodents at bay.  The poor things never get to chew on can as well.

Jackie that's a beautiful cat!

He is cute.  I miss having cats.  Our dogs do not do well with them so that's were we are.  I love dogs just as much  LOL

S'okay. His name is Bodhi by the way. Not my fault, that's the name he came with. Like all my cats, he's a foundling. Anyway, that particular cat HATES dogs with a passion. I had both growing up and they got along famously. I don't mind dogs, but cats and I have a certain understanding. I much prefer their energy. Besides, Susan and I don't have time to properly raise a puppy.

Hugs!

That is such a good name, from Bodhisattva. (a person who is able to reach nirvana but delays doing so out of compassion in order to save suffering beings.)   I like cats too but cannot live with them any longer due to my lung issues.

Well that big storm that hitting everyone has hit New England and travel the past couple days have been terrible.  My commutes were long enough traveling at 60-65 mph.  Now I'm going a blistering 15 mph.  I am always grateful for snow plows but not being behind them.  LOL

So my coffee ran out well before I got to work both days.

I hope everyone else is staying safe and warm.

Down here by the coast it was a mix of sleet and snow so only a couple inches of accumulation.  Going to fire up the loader soon and clear the driveway and mailbox area.  Drive carefully @ShawnaLeigh.

A balmy 9 above right now. To flipping cold for this girl. On days like this I just want to stay in the house not going anywhere. May go out and see if I can get the truck started. I think it is the key chip, which I removed and taped above the lock cylinder. Electrical tape gets hard when cold, and it may have moved.

Tomorrow Me and the wife go to Scottsbluff, NE. To visit my middle son. Then head to visit my oldest in Lincoln on the second.

Everyone traveling be safe and keep warm.

I drove around a bit this afternoon, post coffee.

Lots of traffic. Can't say I enjoy iy, but the scenery was wonderful - bright sunny day in the Ozarks, temps in 40s and 50s.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!

Yep! We're fortunate to be in Sweden for the new year but we're currently holed up in our hotel room streaming the Rose Parade live from warm Pasadena California. Love the pretty floats and flowers!!

Didn't get to see the Rose parade this morning. We left for Scottsbluff. Here now with my grandson staying with us. Went swimming, pool was empty beside the four of us.

But the Rose parade brings back good memories, My oldest son performed with the Wyoming all state High School marching band in 2004.

Good morning! Coffee is so good on this grey dreary (dreich) day!

I have to get some tools and supplies to do some minor craftwork. My studio windows are not very weather tight, so with the heat on it's all I can do to get the temps up to the mid 50s. I'm going to make some removable, light duty interior storm windows to help keep the weather (and the bugs) out.

Wishing everyone a pleasant start to the new decade!

Well I do have a bit of sunshine in my otherwise cloudy start to my new year.  I managed to hit one of my goals for loosing weight!

At my max I was 286 at 5’7”.
Today I weigh 167.5.
This was a personal goal as it was my weight when I was honorable discharged from the USAF back in 1997.
My over all goal is to float someplace between 150-160 and then pray for hips butt and chest.  Lol

I hope everyone is having a great day!

In the meantime, if you happen to corner the hips, butt and chest fairy, I'd like to have a word with her. I didn't receive my portion. ?

Good morning. Already on the road for work, got my coffee to hopefully help me wake up. Kind of a dreary day. Calling for the white stuff tonight or tomorrow. Don’t mind the snow just hate shoveling ?

Hi, we had a good New Years Eve, but a sad New Year’s Day.  Our daughter and granddaughters had to leave to go home.  Even our dog has been mopping.

Had some Nescafé this morning.  We are out of ground coffee.

I’m on my way to see if I can get out of this air cast this morning.  Then going to go to Group this evening.  Two hours each way but it’s worth it.  Far better group than any that are closer.  I just can’t go with any regularity.

i wish everyone a great year.  May your desires come true.

I have not changed anything so I am not sure.  This is a work laptop that I use at home and work.  So maybe there was some update.  I had noticed that even while on my personal phone I am having it go in and out.

Could be the WiFi at the hospitals too.

https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/several-attorneys-general-made-abusive-legal-demands-get-trans-patient-rcna147910     This is a complex issue and I'm no expert, but the actions of these GOP Attorney's General don't pass the smell test.  Their motivations and actions are highly suspect and they lack any credibility.  What else is new, right?  I guess it will all come out in the inevitable court fight.   Carolyn Marie

I went to work with my husband today.  He asked me this morning if I wanted to go...of course I said yes.  I enjoy being with him, and getting away from the house for a little while.  He spent half the day in his office, which I think is why he asked me along.  He made a nest in the corner for me, where I can plug in my laptop and do my stuff...nobody minds me being there.     But today ended up with a strange opportunity.  I had a conversation with my husband's boss, the company owner.  They want some basic graphic design work done, so I think they might hire me to do it.  Nothing fancy, not nearly as complicated as what I've attempted to do for our county.  So I have a meeting with them on Monday, just to look at some details and see if I can do the work they want.  And especially talk about when they need it done, because I still work pretty slowly.  I don't really need or want the money, but its nice to feel like I can do something again.

I went to WM today with the objective of buying sandals: they would be women's, but look like men's; they would be brown or black, not white.  I realized the cheapest way to go  was to go for flip-flops, which I observed were prevalent in the store. So I checked out the women's.  Flowers. White shiny straps. Nothing that could possibly be men's. The best deal was one flip flop for $3.98.  At first I thought that was a pair, then, nope.  And because I comparison shop (is there the same thing in men's?) I found the cheapest over there was $6.98 for a pair of flip flops in green that also match my women's cargo shorts that I love.  Doing the math, finding the pink tax.  Rip off.  I have found a blue tax this way, but usually they charge women more for something than they do men. I guess women tend to lose one flip flop at a time or something. Weird.  The pairs were a lot higher.   So, following my rule, but unhappy with it, I bought the green men's flip flops.  They were the cheapest.  Later wife of mine complimented how masculine I look in my matching shorts and flip-flops.  Inward groan. We have not discussed the Subject in a long time because I think she forgets it is there as soon as the conversation ends.  Or she is trying to talk me out of this.  Not sure.  We only discuss it when necessary, and how often do most couples discuss whether one spouse is one sex or the other? Outside of here, I mean.  So we very seldom talk about it and she is happier if she does not know about it. Super stealth.  I do the laundry and I shower in the shower in the wing away  from the master bed room so I have my own shower.

I'm very glad that everything worked out even better than you thought. It's a tough spot to be in and I know the exact feelings. I'm still waiting to apply for divorce under abandonment so I officially can meet someone who one day I can call someone my prince or my queen. Although the desire for someone is fading because of everything. it's even more amazing that she was your high school sweetheart! Looking forward to the next entry.

Awww thanks for listening everyone. I have another 5-6 songs in this style that I started recording at the same time, so hopefully I’ll finish the next release soon.   Yes, exactly. Everything was easier about this project, mainly because it felt authentic. The energy was very different, because it was such a pleasure to express myself without a filter. I laughed a lot.

Well I had an interview with the local Ford Dealership for an opening in the parts dept. It sounded positive. I was told I would here by tomorrow morning.    Other than that just sticking around the house. I haven't done much, the weather is cold and yucky. Doesn't look like good weather till Sunday. Maybe tomorrow I'll fire up the heater in the garage and see about getting the other brake hose put on the Explorer.   Have a good rest of your day/evening.   Hugs, Kymmie
