Uggh! Why do they keep scheduling Mondays at the beginning of the week? Anyway, I’ve switched this time of day from coffee to Irish breakfast tea, which is really just the coffee of teas ?.

Just starting my 2nd cup of coffee. I wish we would get some snow here. Thanks to living downstate now (hate that) and global warming, I don't get to enjoy early snows anymore. We timberwolves love snow!

I'm listening to Halloween music? and a poltergeist just decided to help put me in the Halloween mood. Not in a friendly way, though. It just tipped over my cats litter box and threw a clean towel on the spilled contents?. Darn thing!?

Lots of love,

Timber Wolf?

Hi, All just got back from appointments with both of my counselors. Went great. Unfortunately my LGBTQ specialist is leaving the first week of Nov. I hope to have at least  a couple more before she leaves. I do have another one with her on the 19. She has helped me immensely. I'm getting closer to coming out to the wife and family. More and More.

Back to the coffee. great this cold snowy morning drive to the VA. cleared up for the drive home.

Timber, are you a former uper? or just from up north.?

Love this thread.  I'm an early riser.  My home espresso machine is always my second stop after I get out of bed, my first being to fix my hair (pardon my vanity showing.)   One cup and having my hair perfect and I am ready to face the day.  Love the fall, leaves just beginning to turn here, still have flowers blooming in their planters on the veranda.  Loved reading about your apple cider story Charlize.  Takes me back to my childhood being raised on a farm.  We had an apple orchard planted in 1900 with such sweet heirloom varieties you can't buy in the store .  We had an old apple press from the 1800s.  Invited friends over for Sunday afternoon cider making parties every fall.  Haven't made cider in years but the press is still in my folks' barn and the trees are still producing.  Hope to make a trip to visit the old homestead in a couple of weeks and stop to pick a few apples while I am there.

Good morning all!

I wasn't a Yuper, but I did live up north. For those not in the know, Yuper, pronounced yooper, is a local term, and is a resident of Michigans upper peninsula, usually a native resident. I'm impressed that you knew the term, Kymmie!

Thinking of this thread this morning reminded me of a very fond memory of my younger days while still living with my parents near Rockford, Michigan. There was a shop in Rockford at the time called "The Melting Pot". I always loved coffee, and always ground my own. But from the melting pot I did one better. The Melting Pot roasted their beans themselves. I would go in their and smell the coffee roasting. Oh what a delicious smell! I would buy a pound and bring it home. The bag of warm fresh roasted coffee beans made my car smell so good. Of course I brewed a pot as soon as I got home. I still yearn for that to this day.

Lots of love,

Timber Wolf?

I grew up outside Detroit so yeah, I know the term, just forgot the proper spelling. My uncle is a Yooper he lives west of Houghton.

What a day!  I got up at a decent hour and had breakfast.  Soon after my son calls saying his car was acting up and he was at home from work.  I had him come over and I quickly diagnosed the issue.  Nothing critical.  I made a small adjustment and told him to go to work!   I'll order some parts and we'll take care of it later.

Then an hour later my closest friend calls to say his truck died and could I come over to drag it home.  I changed back into "shop clothes" and loaded a tow chain into the truck.  I got him home and then we spent a couple hours diagnosing the issue.  (it's electrical, not fuel)  He was going to run out and get the part after I left.

Time to relax before making dinner.

Good morning all!

Autumn is back!? The temp is supposed to hover around 50 all day. The next 10 days temps are supposed to be in the 40's and 50's. No 60's in sight! We timberwolves like cool weather! Looking foreward to my mini vacation next week. I work all night tonight and tomorrow night, then 5 days off! First time off I've taken in a year and a half since I was in the hospital two springs ago.

Lots of love,

Well coffees hot and the temperatures are cold. Looks like just about 36. Boring day at work yesterday.  Hope not so much today. But at least I should get a lunch. 2 more guys are leaving work. Only getting one replacement for now. the new guy is from another store so no training should be necessary.

Have a wonderful day all.

I had a great evening.  My wife and I went to a Rush tribute show.  The bands name is Lotus Land and they were perfect! ??  I'm up because in an hour I'm driving her to the airport to go on a short vacation where she'll meet up with her brother and SIL.

Good Saturday morning, friends!

I'm at work this morning, but it's only a half shift, so I will still have most of my Saturday free. I have some housework to do, but after that's done I think I'll go hiking. The weather has finally broken in Arkansas, and it's a beautiful cool, misty day. I know just the mountain path to spend my afternoon and evening on.

Coffee is not invited. Caffeine and I don't get along.

Good evening all!

Actually it's my morning. Was at work all night, but am on a mini vacation now. I'm hoping to get out and visit some parks, get out and about, and get the "same old, same old" monotony relieved.

Lots of love,

Timber Wolf?

Morning's over, but it was an interesting one...

I do a lot of volunteering for the Sacramento LGBT Community Center and was asked to do an interview that will be used along with others to tell the story of how the mission of the center impacts people that are involved with it. I was mic'd up and recorded for a little over an hour including "B-roll" footage.

I may very well end up on the cutting room floor, but it was fun to speak from the heart about how much volunteering has meant to me and how much it's given to me as well. All in all a good way to start the weekend!

Hugs,
Julie

Good morning everyone :) The coffee's cooling and I am ready for my first cup. It's time to do the shopping soon, but it is rather wet out. I shall make the most of it though. Have a lovely day!

My wife and I are in the process of listing our home to sell, so this morning will be filled with loading a truck to move furniture to storage and then finishing up some final projects before pictures are taken on Tuesday.

Lots to do, but it's exciting to be inching towards a new chapter. ?

Good news.  Take care with moving as you probably are not as strong as you've been on E.  I have certainly lost strength.  Have fun!

Very true, Jani. I took it as easy as I could, but am a little sore today. Of course, my wife is a similar size and was doing all the same things as me, so it's a fair partnership. ?

The good news is that everything fit in storage and the house is looking good. Fingers crossed for a buyers bidding war!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
