Business casual

Hey all. I have a job interview this afternoon and they want me to dress business casual but I dont know what it is. I do have blue jeans and heeled boots and a tshirt and cami but is that ok? HELP!!!thanks

Yea. This is what I was thinking minus the pink tshirt.

I was thinking something like a nice pair of slacks, and a blouse or a button up. Maybe pair it with a bright heel/flat depending on preference and maybe an infinity scarf if you’re in a cool climate? It may be a little more on the “less casual” end, but I know I like to have fun with my clothes. ?

Ya. I need to get some more cloths like that but I need a job first even though I could go to gordmans cause I have credit there. Just wish I had someone to go with. The last time I was with someone, it was fun.

Hi Susan it depends where you are interviewing for, but I would always aim to be more on the formal side than informal. The idea is to create a favourable impression as soon as you walk in and reinforce your cv with a wicked interview.  If you have a blouse wear that even with jeans or smart trousers and boots it is a bit more dress up, otherwise I like the plain white top. Simple and flexible. Good luck!

As a software engineer living in California, I always struggle with business casual because we're so informal compared to many parts of the country. I always have to remind myself to take it up a couple notches when I go back east.

IF I get the position in Chattanooga I am looking at it will require business casual. Just with a company logo top. Which I already picked up one.
