Hello! I'm Charlie, and I'm a non-binary person in the beginning stages of figuring myself out. I am very lucky to have an immediate family that is very accepting and willing to learn, but I currently don't have anyone in my life who I can share my feelings about this stage of my life with. I have many friends in the LGBT community (specifically the L and the G), but every time I try to have conversations about gender and my personal experiences with it, they seem very closed off and uncomfortable. I guess I just want a place where I know people aren't judging me or critiquing me every time I talk about things like dysphoria. I've spent a large portion of my life hating myself, and not understanding why. While it's freeing to be able to have some answers, it is also dreadfully new to me. There are many questions I still don't have answers for, and maybe never will. I guess I'm just looking for a place to relate to people, and maybe meet people who relate to me as well. So yeah, that's me. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forums Charlie -- We do speak Trans here so I hope you will find what you need here with us.  I have had L & G friends for a long time too, and they can be pretty spooked by Trans issues.  Look around and post away, either by giving answers or asking new questions.

Welcome.  A lot of us are trying to figure ourselves out.  I am always happy to have another contributor to the forums.  We all bring our own ideas and perspectives.  It is nice that we can relate and we don't feel alone in all this, and at the same time we compliment each other.
