How well do I pass right now?

I'd really like feedback on how well I pass as male in my photo, or at least androgynous (though I'm a transgender male so to look male is my goal). I'm still in the closet irl and I can't really get my hair much shorter than this without my mom getting suspicious, so there's not a whole lot I can change face wise but yeah it would be great to get advice on how masculine I look for now, or ways to make me look more male. Thanks a ton!

here's the link to the photo on my about me because I want to delete it later: https://www.transgenderpulse.com/forums/profile/30426-leomonade/?tab=field_core_pfield_15

If your hair were a bit shorter, I would say you look very much like a teenage boy.

I agree with MaryEllen Sort out your hair and I wouldnt think that you was anything other than a young man.

Good job

Unless you are a skateboarder or surfer, maybe shorten your hair a little. You still pass tho. Other than the looks, your confidence will be what “sells” what you want others to see and feel, and The attitude. In the pic, your expression set the tone, and that’s why I think you pass as is. ?

I think you look great and i would have trouble in knowing if you were male or female by just looking at this picture.  Your hair might give the biggest visual clue.  A baseball cap or pulling it back might help.

I agree with everyone else. Your hair is the biggest giveaway. If you don't want cut it, I'd suggest straighting it.

^^^ I was thinking this too.

You look just like 1/2 the guys my 13 yr old son hangs with. I’d have no idea you’re not a boy. Don’t think anyone would really.

I would have to say that you look like a 14 or 15 year old boy.  If you have not said anything, I would have thought that you were a boy just starting high school and trying to find your look.

Unlike many I don't see too much issue with the hair. It is somewhat untidy, more like a boy (I have issues the other way round as I have difficulty getting the female knack of hair control). I suppose it's more how it fits in with the hairstyles of similar males in you social circle and area. Feminine looking boy would be my opinion at a quick glance.

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
