Hey all

I haven't made a post on what is going on with me so I decided to make one. In the past few weeks, I have been looking around for a surgeon that will take my insurance.  Well after a few days, I found some down in Utah. I emailed a couple and got an email back from one that said their waiting list is not very long. So after a few emails, I had a free phone consultation and got all my paperwork for the start of me getting gcs. The only thing that is taking a little time will.be getting a second letter. My therapist gave me a couple names today so i.will be calling them on Monday.  So now as it stands, we are shooting for either dec 2 or the 16th of dec. I am really excited about it.  So that's just a little bit about what's going. I will be adding to this later. Thanks. Susan. Hugs!!!!😊

How exciting!  Make sure the doctor's office has all your insurance data and keep in touch with them to ensure they get the approvals they need for the anesthesiologist and the hospital too.  You don't want to be surprised by any bills.

Keep us updated!!

I have already given them my insurance card and I am fortunate that they know a few people that work at the insurance company. They work with them a lot. I have to get my letters to them before they let me make my appointment to.

Best wishes on the surgery, including the financial/insurance aspects.

So here is an update. I got my second assessment done this past monday and tues and it went really well. The therapist will have my second letter next week. I asked her about the recommendation, She told me that she highly recommends surgery. I also called the surgeons office on monday to check open dates. She told me that the dates are still open at this time and as soon as i get the letter to email it to her right away so she can get my preauthorization going. So to sum things up for now. Everything is going really good and I am really happy. Also i did land a really good job starting money so i can start laser hair removal down below because the surgeon requires it. TC all. HUGS!!!!

Congrats to you on moving closer to getting GCS, Susan.  Happiness is so very important but so often hard to attain.  Its helps landing a good job like you did.  I love good news...thanks for sharing!

I just feel like i am crazy... i keep doubting myself constently. I think i am trans, but everyone says no.  Maybe i am just confused and lost in a sea of raw emotions.  I keep feeling like i am trans, but i dont honestly know anymore. Maybe i am just confused myself, or just delusional.   Maybe i should just stop and expect me beginning so uncomfortable in my own skin.    Sorry for the vent. I just feel like it the only place i can express myself, i guess.   Thanks for reading. Sorry for the vent.

Thanks Vicky,  I know I have a long way to go, just started this a few weeks ago. I am just so damn happy that it came together as well as it did. Far from perfect, but that’s just me. It’s amazing the amount of relief and happiness I’m feeling right now. And the wife seems to approve so that helps. 😁😁😁

      Hi! and Welcome!

A word of hope and dread, I began my Transition 20 years ago as a CD, which lasted 12 years, and FULL TIME with all the the work 8 years ago, and I am still not finished.  Don't worry about it though, you are living your truth and that is the most important.  A happy, friendly attitude with people will more than offset any little defects we have, but that is the same for all our life.

For the first time I actually put everything together. From the gaff and false boobies 😁 to all the makeup. I’ve got to be honest I saw  my body profile and almost cried. Still need more practice with the makeup but it wasn’t to bad for my first attempt. Also need to grow my hair more or get a wig.

      Hello and welcome.

Gooseberries grow best up north.  In fact, a bush won't grow berries, if it there wasn't at least one hard freeze over the winter time.
    • Ellora
Ive never heard of Gooseberries, I must try them now.

Eeeek, Nettle in the nethers! No bueno!   One thing men and women have in common, is they both have need to squat then #2 is involved.

We have heat, and a wide variation. all within a 20min drive. =). In the winter, you can play at the beach, drive 20-30 mins inland and play in the snow =).

Eeeek! too hot! AC all the way!

Ace of Base did a cover of Bananarama's song "Cruel Summer." in 1998. The Original song from Bananarama came out in 1984, which dates me back to 18yrs old when it was in the "Karate Kid." Lots of nostalgia for me .

That sounds so perfect I bet you could make a lot of nice desserts with all the fresh fruit!
    • tracy_j
Except for the sun it sounds good over there. Here we live with a wide variation, but I like the heat better than most. I'm loving it here at the moment picking Loganberries directly off the bush as a snack between meals lol. The redcurrents are at their prime too! A short while ago it was Gooseberries and soon be time for doing the same with blackberries. I love to pick things direct rather than buying at the supermarket.   Tracy
