So I am 55 just found out I am at 0 T but I been feeling very arouse lately even having a wet dream...I was fully erotic. My Doc say's that he has never heard of that. I was wondering if any of the older girls have been through this and if that's phase or occurring side effect

It was sooooooo exhilarating for me when I read my Being T free. Especially not having those ugly blobs anymore, and being able to go off of Spiro. It’s the best thing! And I’m so happy for you! Seriously girl, I’m super happy for you!

At 6.5 years post op and with vaginoplasty, I still get a form of Wet Dream.  MY T is not zero, but it is in the lowest normal range of a female T, which cis females have.  They are maybe once every 3 months as just about when I would PMS if I were younger and cis.

I hate to admit it. But I never have had a wet dream. I wouldnt know what a wet dream was like if it slapped me in the face.

Am i normal???

I think this may have been mentioned on another post, but I feel it important to reiterate: 0 T is very bad. This can lead to severe health issues. Ladies need some T for some important physiological processes. Speak to your doctor if you are showing levels of 0 T.

Thank you for catching that one Sara, yes, a zero reading is not good and can cause problems.

In my ten years on HRT zero either means a flaw in the testing comparison since I noticed that on a Male scale (which has been accidentally done once and caught by my Endo) they used the term "too low to measure: but on female comparison scale it was low normal, or  the zero is an outright erroneous test result that needs to be re-done.

I rechecked my T score, and I’m not “0T”, I’m at a level that is considered “T” free” I still have a small amount.

@Alex C I hope you just have low t and not 0t

I wouldn’t say that I have no libido at all but it’s not something that I think about constantly like it used to be. It’s not something that switches on involuntarily. And I actually appreciate that it doesn’t just switch on. Life is a lot more calm.

My T has been low for several years. It started declining after my first attempt to transition and then remained lower than normal levels until last year when it started to get even lower on its own. One of the side effects of low T and no E is constant fatigue. It sucks to have such low energy that you can’t get up in the morning. You can’t function at a job. E helps alleviate that a lot. It also helps balance other hormones in the body.

In the earliest days of transition, occasionally I would have a resurgent libido but it doesn’t happen anymore. It’s even difficult to get mentally turned on. I don’t look at it as a curse, it’s actually nice to be more in control of that aspect of life instead of ruled by it.

This is exactly how I feel!

Maybe that what he meant. But I am right in line with JB. very low energy my gym work outs are not as intense,   my zen is at 8. However, I am still super -excited- the W.Dreams really scare me....Maybe I am just broken or super bless...either way win-win

Zero testosterone?

I would get that sorted at once.

You do relise that No testosterone is in the long term pretty bad to borderline dangerous

I did. a few threads  ago in. " Hey My T count is down to zero"

Needs to be sorted out or corrected. Im surprised they would not give you an exact amount when discussing your levels. I know mine exactly. Well up to the last test anyway.  Thats pretty rough. But hey ho. I guess thats how they roll over there.

I Once dreamt i caught in a rain storm that just never stopped. (We are talking biblical here) Does that count as a wet dream?

As far as I can remember, I only had “wet dreams” while I was going through puberty, and not much after my teens. Every once in a while I was close to experiencing one from time to time, but only if it was a highly erotic dream.

This has been my experience.

Not in recent memory have i had a wet dream, maybe decades ago?

I do have an occasional erotic dream, but in those I am always a woman. Otherwise, my dreams are more or less genderless.

It took me about 10 years into transition before i started to dream with me mainly in female form. You my freind are very lucky.

Im afraid it is not wet. Last one i recall is i was working in a shop near Harrods in knightsbridge.

I know i was near that shop as the harrods christmas float went past at speed.  Thats how i remember it. It doesnt normally break the speed limit. Poor old santa was hanging on for dear life.

Typical. Never in some sort of strange erotic fantasy. Always something mundane. Well if you call that mundane.

and no it wasnt raining.

Recently, I’ve noticed that I’ve been dressed as a women in my dreams a couple of times. Nothing erotic, just dressed in what I normally wear at home. Since I don’t dress in women’s clothing full time yet, it doesn’t surprise me that I am not dreaming looking like a women full time.

I don’t remember much of the dreams but yes I get them and they are so disgusting but since hrt and the orchectomy they are not as frequent.

I shopped online in the beginning of transition. I had great success with SHEIN and Torrid!

Have you read the rest of what I wrote?   Please read between the lines of what I said about high school.  Go over and read my Taylor story.  Put two and two together.   That is all I will say about that.

"I feel like I lost my husband," Lois told the therapist,"I want the man I married." Dr. Smith looked at Odie, sitting there in his men's clothing, looking awkward and embarrassed. "You have him.  This is just a part of him you did not know about. Or did not face." She turned to Odie,"Did you tear my wedding dress on our wedding night?" He admitted it.  She had a whole catalog of did-you and how-could you.  Dr. Smith encouraged her to let it all out. Thirty years of marriage.  Strange makeup in the bathroom.  The kids finding women's laundry in the laundry room. There was reconciliation. "What do we do now?" Dr. Smith said they had to work that out.  Odie began wearing women's clothing when not at work.  They visited a cross-dressers' social club but it did not appeal to them.  The bed was off limits to cross dressing.  She had limits and he could respect her limits.  Visits to relatives would be with him in men's clothing.    "You have nail polish residue," a co-worker pointed out.  Sure enough, the bottom of his left pinky nail was bright pink  His boss asked him to go home and fix it.  He did.   People were talking, he was sure, because he doubted he was anywhere as thorough as he wanted to be.  It was like something in him wanted to tell everyone what he was doing, and he was sloppy.   His boss dropped off some needed paperwork on a Saturday unexpectedly and found Odie dressed in a house dress and wig.  "What?" the boss said, shook his head, and left.  None of his business.   "People are talking," Lois said. "They are asking about this," she pointed to his denim skirt. "This seems to go past or deeper than cross dressing."   "Yes.  I guess we need some counseling."  And they went.

Mine would be SHEIN as much as I have bought from them lol.

This is the persistence in thinking of trans girls as predators and, as if, they are the only kind of predation that happens in locker rooms. This is strikingly close to the dangerous myth that anatomy corresponds with sexuality and equates to gender.
    • Abigail Genevieve
At the same time there might be mtf boys who transitioned post-puberty who really belong on the girls' teams because they have more similarities there than with the boys, would perform at the same level, and might get injured playing with the bigger, stronger boys.   I well remember being an androgynous shrimp in gym class that I shared with seniors who played on the football team.  When PE was no longer mandatory, I was no longer in PE. They started some mixed PE classes the second semester, where we played volleyball and learned bowling and no longer mixed with those seniors, boys and girls together.

People love bureaucracy.  It makes everything cut and dried, black and white, and often unjust, unmerciful, wasteful and downright stupid.
    • Ivy
This is why a blanket policy can never be fair.  Everything is not black and white.

Men's t shirt, women's jeans, hipster panties, flip-flops that could go either way.

Common sense seems to be missing from a lot of these discussions.  In my Taylor story he is jumped brutally in a boys' bathroom his freshman year, something he is still trying to straighten out 8 years later and has a radical effect on his life.  Bullying can go either way. Transwomen in the prison system are happy to go to women's prisons, but I have heard that transmen stay in the womens' prison, because they would be killed in the mens' prison.   I am leery of blanket "every kid should...." statements and laws everywhere.  To echo a writer you may never heard of, Preston Sprinkle, you should work these things out with the child, and if necessary, with the parents, and communicate.  I don't think a child capable of penetration should sleep with girls on an overnight, or be in a girls' locker room.  Trans kids have limitations as a result of their condition, sort of like people in wheelchairs cannot go mountain climbing, but here is the social realm. Accommodate as you can, but there are limits.  The cisgender kids have rights.  I am not sure where to draw the line as to whose rights should win out.  Nor am I sure regulation imposed by a Legislature or a school board is the way to go.  We saw Louden.    I see no reason for an mtf who transitioned before puberty to not play girl sports, but a child who goes through male puberty has enormous physical advantages over the girls, and we are seeing girls injured.

Years passed.  The kids grew up and they were empty-nesters.  Lois went full-time at her company.   "We have a Halloween party every year."  He had heard of that.    "You've upheld your end of our bargain for so very long.  How about - do you have something appropriate to wear in the female line?"   Did he.  She was dressed like a penguin, but he wore a women's skirted suit, dark hose, one-inch heels, gold jewelry, well-done makeup and a wig.   "I would not recognize you.  What's this?"   "Padding."    "If I didn't know better I would think you were just a rather tall businesswoman.  No one at the party knows you, no one is expecting a man in drag.  How about your voice and walk?"   He had obviously been practicing them.   The party was a blast.  Odie was happier than she had ever seen him, freer somehow, reveling in being feminine. Lois liked "her" as a charming friend.   "That was fun," he said, driving home.   "It is hard now to think you are a man," she said, and looked at him.   "To tell you the truth I had such a wonderful time I never want to wear men's clothing again. I will, because I must."   "I mean, you are convincing as a woman.  More than you are as a man."   "I think we need to get some professional help."   And they did.  Lois was determined to walk through this, as was Odie, and when he learned she was not walking out but working through, he was overjoyed.

I am aware of this.  It seems a little unnecessary considering that most of us do this at home every day of our lives.  But okay.  It does seem a bit harsh to require the trans kids to go outside and find a bush to poop under.  Stalls with a little more actual privacy might help.  But the real problem is trans people's existence.  Not to worry, the GOP is working o that one. I don't think this would be as much a problem if the transphobes didn't harp on it so much.  There are already laws about stalking and assault. Perhaps, if as a society we were more open about our bodies we could get past this.  Not that this is likely to happen tho.   Yeah.  That's the problem with these laws.  Kids - especially teens, need some privacy of their own to grow up into who they are.  I can see where a kid might experiment with pronouns for a couple of months, and then decide it's not for them.  Pity for them to get beat up in the meantime.   I (thankfully) didn't know everything my kids got into.  And I know my parents didn't know everything about me.   We can give our guidance, but ultimately they need to figure it out on their own.
