A couple months till my GCS

Recommended Posts

A couple months till my GCS in January 2020.In 2001 I decided not to have it and changed my mind.Thinking about it,I did regret my decision a little bit.Good thing is my husband is supportive,we talked about this.He will always love me regardless. My 2 sons,Aaron and Tyler are supportive. My parents are going to be there with me when I have it done.Supportive, they are going to see their daughter become complete.I am going to have the vaginoplasty,6 inch depth and know it's not reversible.Talked to someone that had it and no regrets ever since seeing her results, looks like the real deal.I am real excited

Congratulations!

I'm very happy for you. I'm scheduled for February so maybe we can whine about recovery together in the aftermath.

Hugs!

Luckily my mom's OB/GYN doctor is going to check on the results after it's done.Talked to her and said she does this this.

Hi Debra

I had my GCS done April 1/19 in Montreal. I was expecting this horrible pain, once the epidural wore off it was a little uncomfortable but manageable with Tylenol. I was up and walking that evening. Just take your time and don't over do it.  The dilating  gets old really fast but it is a necessary evil. I think what got me through it all was looking back at all I had done and gone through to get to this point.I can finally look in the mirror naked and smile.

I wish you luck

Is it weird that I'm looking forward to dilating? It just feels to me like a part of my transition I have total control over. No gatekeepers. No insurance. No paperwork. Just me and my dedication... also the, um, supplies if you will but that's secondary. I am so, so, so excited to be looking at the surgery in the rearview mirror come February.

Hugs!

Nice! Susan's afraid she "won't be able to deal with it." For us, the three-month no-fly zone period is a good thing. It gives her time to adjust. Though I'm told it won't be fully online for about a year. Still looking forward to the renovations. It's equal parts exciting and terrifying! Whee!

Hugs!

I’m N looking forward to keeping up with both of your “adventures “ to come.  I’m very interested in how the process goes for each of you.
Congrats to you both.  ❤️

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

I don't have anything in my dress pocket

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
