Shawna, we see it last.  Very nice!

As to your dentist wanting your medical record.  This is important as they see changes in our health that might go unnoticed.  I had my semi-annual visit earlier this week.  On the medical history document I review and update each time there is a question about a specific type of medication which I happen to have just started.  We ended up discussing it for a moment.

Before any major surgical procedure most surgeons during the pre-op consultation will suggest that you have a full dental checkup and x-rays as any infection in the mouth will compromise the pending surgery and possibly become a huge problem.

Not sure if this counts here but I found my strength and resolve last night.  I am not going to be held down. Put conditions on me.  Time lines or even who I decide to tell or not and when.  It felt good and it made me smile inside feeling my female get her dander up and take a stand.
Hoping for a good positive talk this weekend with my wife but prepared for battle!!!

While moving all my things out of our bedroom into the spare room my wife seemed to find a bit more acceptance for me today.  She gave me advice on how women do certain things even gave me some feminine things for the shower and picked out flowery pillow cases for my bed.
It felt wonderful.  It made me smile.

Well it was on Halloween before my wife and son started in. I had a laser appointment in Ft Collins. I decided to dress how I feel, female. So I wore gray sweater dress, matching leggings, low boots, changed my ear rings to a Halloween set.

All the time I was out and about in Both Ft. Collins and Cheyenne. I felt free, not nervous. It was a great feeling. I had no problems walking into anywhere. The Cheyenne VA is were I feel the most accepted. The VA acceptance policy makes me feel fantastic. I can even use the ladies room. (there policy is you can use the restroom of the sex you identify as) After my VA visit I got lunch at the Burger King. The young lady at the counter treated me as a lady. Not even any weird looks while I was eating. The whole trip out was great.

It was later that night when the deification hit the rotary oscillator.

Had a great encounter with another woman on the elevator. She loved my coat and thought it was hilarious when I answered back, "Thank you, it covers up most of my flaws." She wants one for herself.

Also got the door held for me by two guys at the gas station and I got the appropriate ma'am, but that wasn't as much fun as elevator woman.

Hugs!

I have often used the ladies room at VA even though I don't present female, although a lot of genetic females dress much the same as me as I'm into layering, so no one has ever raised their eyebrows at me over it. My reasoning is normally based on the fact that some male has tied up the men's room while taking lengthy dump a reading a magazine. @#%&*!

In the shop yesterday. I was serving a lady. When she stopped me and asked how do i get my nails looking so good.

It was quite a lovely compliment as i always do my own. Never been to one of thoss enail bar type things.

So i explained to her what i use and how i prepare them pre painting. i think her next stop was going to be to pick up some base and top coat.

Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling  As I have commented on others but rarely get one back concerning nails.

This happened yesterday.  Went shopping for winter boots for me.  All I own is steel toed hiker looking boots I was issued at various employments.  Not only are the highly used looking but steel toed uninsulated boots are not good in snow and cold weather of Vermont.
My wife and I were looking but we were not finding anything in men’s.  I wasn’t looking very hard because I naturally wanted a womens style.
She then looks at me and says.  “You want to go check out the women’s section?”   I’m like Yes!!!
So we did.  I didn’t even feel uncomfortable and no one even looked at me funny. I was full on guy mode but dressed somewhat nice and maybe on a feminine side.   We both tried on several pairs and I found a nice Sorel insulated boot pink n grey.  I loved them.  She bought them for me.  I was shocked.
Then we went to find her some flannel pants for around then house.  I ended up getting a pair too and some leggings both in a small size.  She bought those too.  Holy crap really?!?!   I was surprised as she was buying mediums for herself.  Lol

It was a wonderful trip.  It made me smile ear to ear.

Wonderful, and a sign of things to come between you both perhaps! First thing my wife bought me was a pair of leggings which I initially wore like long johns under my jeans during cold weather. She said, "OMG you have such nice legs, too bad you don't wear them outside!" Then she bought me a pair of women's size 11 BearPaw boots, a less expensive version of Uggs, and a few heavy cotton Henley pullovers. Worn in combo I look as good if not better than many females except my face screams "Male." Then she had lost some weight and put several pair of her size 12 jeans in the Goodwill bag and I said, "-what the heck- they are like new!" She said, "Try them on then!" It turned out that they fit better than any men's jeans and looked great on me. I eventually lost some extra weight and now wear size 10's, we go shopping together. I have a number of Rhonda Shear Aah Bras and Coobie Bras that do me a great justice too which I buy online under her name. Being non-binary I usually wear big Hawaiian style shirts during the warmer months and a jacket, hoodie or vest during the Fall/Winter months in order to maintain a rather stealth but androgynous look in public as I'd rather not have the boobs make too much of a visual statement for gawkers.

@Jackie C. Lovely rich colour. I like them a lot.  I also like your nail shape

Thank you Jackie. I am lucky enough to have nails i can do myself to a reasonable standard. It wasnt always the case. I have taught myself how. But be assured my first efforts were nothing like the semi skill i have in that department.

Shawna; Awesome news on the acceptance from your nearest and dearest. Post a picture of those boots if you can. Love to see them ?

Just a smal piece of happiness today. It is always nice when something is justified.

My voice. If you look back its one of those things i did with only the therapy of singing to Annie Lennox in the car and just working  hard to get it just right.

Since perfecting it. I have never really had it questioned like talking on the phone and such like.. Yesterday i was in an online platform. I ended up talking to a woman i had never spoke to before.  Somehow the conversation got onto menopause. She contiued to ask me about how did mine go. Therefore i can just assume my voice has reached a point where it is no diffrent from any other woman in the street.

Not much. But it lovely when something happens like that and it kind of justifys the work you put in.

As perfecting a voice to portray me was always very important for me to archieve.

So I got a new CD on a whim. "Postcard" by Mary Hopkin. Have been enjoying listening to her clear, sweet voice singing "Those Were the Days" and thinking it odd that I never noticed that I identified with female singers as a child, singing in first person as a she and never giving it a thought. Does that make me smile? Yes. It even makes me chuckle.

Singing has been out of my life since being in the Army wrecked my voice. But my voice is back, and the sense of euphoria that voicing happy songs gives me.

All these beautiful people in my biography, I feel so blessed!   No fallout from the Facebook avatar thing, yet. I instantly deleted it, but I really do like the avatar I created. I'll have to recreate it when I'm more out to friends and family.   I guess they weren't dancing, one was blowing a birthday horn and mine was "like, omg, so surprised!"

This is what I'm seeing too. I hate it but it is the current reality.  I expect more trouble in the future since "they now have the perfect excuse to let go the brakes." Kinda funny how quickly things turned against us.  I don't think we can really count on the Democrats either.

I'm sorry, I don't want to be overly pessimistic, but I think to an extent the truth is irrelevant here. There is an absolute torrent of transphobes-were-right-all-along stories emerging in the wake of the Cass Review, not to mention the WPATH Files. These are coming not only from the usual anti-trans suspects, but from reputable newspapers like the Washington Post and the New York Times. (David Brooks in the Times: "Hilary Cass is the kind of hero the world needs today.") And while I'm aware that both those outlets have been leaning anti-trans for a while, they now have the perfect excuse to let go the brakes.   Ultimately, all that's needed for governments to ban these treatments is enough public support, and I suspect that support may be rapidly growing. Since I work with trans kids, cis folks often bring up the topic with me when they have "concerns", and I have been amazed at the number of otherwise reasonable people who have latched on to classic anti-trans tropes like social contagion or the idea that trauma causes transness. Whereas in the past they were generally convinced quite easily by my obviously superior knowledge, I'm expecting the task of convincing them to get harder starting as of now.

In those dimensions, not even Sophia Loren could hold a candle to me. A Goddess....in my own mind. lol

So, just imagine how spectacularly beautiful you'd be in four-dimensions April.

That does sound hard to keep up with.  I use patches, changed twice a week.  But I have to have my phone set to remind me.  I just don't think about it.

Oh, I am drop-dead gorgeous in a totally different dimension @Sally Stone! :-)

Ladies, each of your comments makes me realize my decision to share my journey was a good one.  Before committing, I worried that my storyline wouldn't be of interest to anyone. I'm so glad I'm striking a chord with many of you.

How we look in photographs isn't really anything we can control.  I've actually searched for answers and there are lots of good explanations out there like this one:   https://www.foxbackdrop.com/blogs/news/beautiful-photogenic-reasons-tricks-foxbackdrop#:~:text=Based on the light-creation,angular faces are usually photogenic.   The simplest explanation is a picture captures our image two-dimensionally when in real-life, we are seen three-dimensionally.  A person can be beautiful or handsome in real life but the two-dimensional image can be way different.  So, for those of us that don't think we look good in a picture, fear not.  We are much better looking in three-dimensions.

This is your journey and no one here will judge you or bully you. This is a very accepting, non-judgemental place and you can process at your own speed. Having said all welcome Violet, we are glad you found us. I know we all look forward to hearing from you.

Good morning    I should not have said about sleeping in, now I have to go in 2 ½ hours earlier.  Oh well at least I. Off tomorrow and Monday, I think.as of now, hope I didn’t just jinx that too.     Hot today high 80s dropping quickly and rain to the 60s for a couple of days then more normal 70s.  It just depends on which way the wind blows. Off the gulf, hotter, off the ocean, cooler, out of the north rain and when they all converge, look out.  That’s today.   i made a pot of coffee but I think most of it is going to waste.  My wife went back to bed and I’m not good with coffee when I’m hot, and I am. That’s my fault, I was 4 days.late with my E again.  I just st have a really hard time keeping on a 10 day schedule.  And my reminders aren’t helping..   now I’m going to peak by tomorrow since it isn’t all absorbed in one day, I’ll hold fairly steady but if I’m late again I’ll drop well below my target yet again.     Im down in the valley, the valley so low But I see my true love, at the top of the hill i climb the mountain, but she is not there for she has gone back down, to the valley below   I didn’t come up with a refrain and with that I’m calling the guys with the padded cells. lol   Willow
