I hate body hair.HATE IT.
 Like one lovely lady said in another post,

“I prefer no hair from my nose to my toes”.
So I shave.   Everything.
A day or two later I am dying from pickiness. Rough stubble.  MostLy in my nether regions but also butt and back of thighs.
is there anything yo do that will soften these areas?

I have no experience to draw on regarding body hair you poor child, I am an American Hairless, could use a little more on top. Meh!

Not really a problem I have, but I'd vigorously moisturize. There's got to be some product that makes body hair softer just because beards are a thing. I heard Vaseline once for mustaches, but I never tried it.

Hugs!

I’ve got to try something.  I remember why I just give up and let it grow out.  Less pain and discomfort but it’s like I’m quitting.  Lol

I know I will have to shave or something for the rest of my life.  I would love to learn how others deal with it.

I think when you mow, you do it with the grain rather than against it to avoid ingrown hairs which can become a nuisance and even infected. I tend to deal with it that way in the lower region and find it's the way to go.

My methodology :

1. I take many days to go from not shaved to fully shaved

2. Cut longer hairs with cisors if need be.

3. Use an electric shaving tool in the first pass.

4. Use a razor for second pass.

* : I wash my tools and I'm not mixing regions.

* : use shaving cream

* : Use moisturizer afterward

* : Use exfoliating cream 2 times a week

* : Down the leg, then up the leg (if your skin not sensitive)

* : Do this before going to bed late and not in the morning.

This is basically my regime too.
What exfoliating creams do you use.
sadly I am still limited to male lotions for body and face.  I’m trying to edge more to crossed sex products now.  Perfumes men and women can wear.  Deodorant.   Etc.

Suggestions?

I also hate my body hair. It is super triggering, especially my chest hair.

Exfoliate before and after shaving. Post shave moisturize and keep moisturizing regularly. This has me both from the pickiness as well as from ingrown hairs.

When i can, I use nair or similar products as it keeps the the tip of the hair being sharp, which is what shaving does.

I use a neutrogena body wash, called clean and clear I think. It has salicylic acid in it which helps exfoliate and keeps my bacne in control as an added benefit.

Once you are rid of the gonads and have spend many years on feminizing hormones you will find that body hair becomes very light and for some none at all. I no longer have any leg or  underarm hair, though some of it may also be coupled as an age related thing.

That's a dream.  Something to hopefully look forward to.

@ShawnaLeigh looking back at what was an older post let me say this.  I have waxed. I’ve used depilatory creams.  I’ve used an electric razor and a multi blade razor and an epilator.  Here’s what I have found.  Sugar wax over hard wax, but both require you let your hair grow between waxing.  Not a good option for me at least.  Shaving, well the electric razors gave me razor burn or even tiny cuts on soft skin.  Depilatory smelly, takes a while to apply, wait and wash off for what was less than expected results.

my current regime is face: I use a cleansing wash with a brush.  (Won’t mention brands but there are several brush systems available). I then apply a shaving lubricant to my face and shave with my rotary electric wet/dry.  Next I go back over it with a multi blade razor.  That’s as close as I can get my face before makeup.

arms and legs I use an epilator.  Everything else a razor.  I can’t bring my self to use the epilator on my chest or stomach.  I do find a women’s razor does a better job.

      @Sally Stone, I have enjoyed reading this thread immensely. There certainly are some things in it that I can relate to, particularly when you wrote that "I wasn’t a man trapped in a woman’s body." This simple statement confirmed two things for me; I am not an imposter here, and I could end up much further along the path than what I imagine now.   I very much look forward to your future posts here.   I hope that by posing this question I'm not committing you to spoil future posts, but can I ask, why you have settled on Bigender as a label? I keep changing my label and have no idea what it might be tomorrow or next week or next month!

      This whole Cass Review thing is breaking my heart. I keep imagining how it must be to be a trans kid in the UK atm. I am halfway through reading the review so that I can effectively refute it if and when people cite it here in Australia.

      One thing I took on board from a former boss who was an absolute gentleman and fluent conversationalist but a hopeless leader because he was the classic yes man to his superiors, was to take the emotion out of the equation when arguing. Don't use hyperbole. Don't exaggerate. Stick to what you know and defeat your adversary with logic. Of course, your adversary will double down and make an even bigger fool of themselves, and not even realize that they have lost the argument, nor will they realize that people are laughing at them and not with them. It also helps if you can separate them from their minions.   A conservative elderly uncle, who left school at the age of 12, swears black and blue that taking Ivermectin (sheep dip) prevents Covid because he knew someone who knew someone else who took it and despite that person being momentarily in close contact with people who had Covid, didn't come down with it. "Well, you're the one with the science degree!" I said.   A lot of people argue out of ignorance. They base their points on populism and rumor. I rarely argue, but when I do, it is in an attempt to push back. Another favorite saying that I use is "Rumors are started by haters, spread by fools and believed by idiots." I then ask, "Which two are you?" 😉

      Good morning, all!!! Cloudy today with some light rain coming. Not a day to work outside.   I will vacuum the house and the head out to our local hardware store after I get cleaned up. Time to buy a new bird feeder for the back porch.   I'm sorry the job didn't work @KymmieL! Hang in there.   It sounds like a busy time for you at work @Willow. Finding reliable people is so hard these days.   Time for another cup of coffee before I start cleaning!!   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.

      Nostalgia is an emotion. It is the feeling of enjoying events from the past. People with nostalgia will often look at or use old things that they were familiar with years ago. This is because people feel more connected to those past times that they enjoyed, usually because it reminds them of how long it has been since they last connected to such past times. Examples where people may have the feeling of nostalgia includes watching old TV shows, using old technology that was very enjoyable, and playing with toys that you played with as a child. These memories are usually misleading, and can make someone wish that they could be young again, even if their childhood was mediocre. Human brains often leave out boring or bad memories, which can cause incorrect feelings about their childhood.
