my first experience of gender euphoria

so back in the summer my sister, her friend, my mom, and I went to a local mall for various reasons (Ikea, Spencer's and american eagle). I went to the Spencer's got a few lgbt related shirts and a couple of chokers, while the others went to the american eagle and we agreed that we'd meet up again in the Ikea. So they went shopping for furniture and the like (I wasn't too interested in shopping, one too many pulled hairs over a swedish desk) I decided that I wanted to go get some food. after getting my swedish meatballs I went to the counter to pay and the cashier there almost called me a sir and then went "oh wait, ma'am sorry", I had to stop myself from crying while pulling out a twenty. I sat down texted all of my friends and needless to say that was the best Ikea food I've ever had.

Congratulations! It feels GOOD when you're correctly gendered, doesn't it? All that weight from people getting it wrong just kind of melts away and you feel like yourself.

 

Also, well done on stopping the waterworks. That's a skill I haven't really mastered. I lost it over a passage about a dog losing a human it cared about today ... and I was writing it. ?

 

I am such a girl. I'm glad that you get to feel like a guy!
