I think the only thing I can suggest is to relax, if you can, and just let it come. It is harder to think straight when heavily stressed, or at least it is with me. I find things come to me easier when relaxed.

Good luck on getting one sorted soon!

Good advice here.

You can drive yourself crazy trying so hard to name yourself.  I was getting caught up in this a few weeks ago.  I had to have it "mean something" to my past, or life, or family, or who knows.  It was driving me crazy.

Finally it just happened one day.  It seems so simple and stupid to me that its basically my male name with an extra letter tacked on the end.  The middle intial of my birth middle name to be exact but then with the middle changed.   It felt right to me.  I said it over and over and over in my head.  Like I was trying on a new outfit I was not sure about and going back to the same outfit after trying on several others.  To me it has to be organic.  Just let it happen.  Your name will be what it is when it comes to you, you will know.  JMO

Another point is that you don't have to settle for the first thing that comes to mind. While you're trying out names you can start with one thing... In my case Jackie (or Jacqueline if you're being formal) was what I picked out of the gate. I used it for... oh, about a year. It isn't a perfect fit, I named myself after a fictional character I admire. So I wore that for a while until I finally settled on Robyn. That was a perfect fit. Now it's my legal name. I kept Jackie though. She's important to me. My full, legal name is Robyn Jacqueline C. Bonus points for coming up with initials that sound good enough for a nickname. Assuming I ever finish the book I'm working on, my pen name might be R. J.

Really, until you find the right one, or change it legally, you can happily try on names like hats until you find the one that's right for you. You might irritate your friends a little, but if they're really your friends they'll understand and let you off with some light teasing. They might even help you out with a nickname that fits you better than anything you would have come up with on your own.

Hugs!

I'd like that. And could use an adventure for a change.   Jackie, that's funny about the pants, since I tend to spend much of my studio time in a t-shirt and panties.   TA

It's a thought. But I'd really have to relocate to Maine. Although the West coast is also appealing. I spent 3 years in San Francisco. TA

I am going to drop some hints to make sure he isn't playing with my heart. I might ask him this week or next week to have sushi like he wanted. (And it's cheap >:D)    Also I will keep you all posted!

It seems pretty clear he likes you. And you like him. I agree with A Dillon, y'all should just try going out! Just a casual coffee or lunch. Take it slow, you know?   Anyway, this is too cute! Please keep us posted 💕   ~Toni

Since here soon he is going to be moving near me, we plan on hanging at the park, he made me shake on it, how cute

oH I forgot to mention!!!   On the bus ride we pass by a mall and he saw a Trappers, (A sushi place) and he asked me if I wanted to go there with him,  "That will be our first date."    ANd earlier he was saying "Haha when you joke around flirting because you are afraid of being rejected"

Listen: this is not hints, this is essentially asking you out. You should say something!! He is scheduling a kiss with you, kind of very much implying that you will be dating. Cuddling, hand holding, this all sounds like you're already dating! I think that maybe you should suggest going somewhere with him, like a date of sorts. That way you can get to know each other in a more open environment, and will really have a chance to talk about life and stuff. If your parents would let you, being able to just go to lunch with him alone or something like that would be great.

Yea,i kind of like the movement, just the idea of having magic just casually appear as part of reality kind of fits my life as i am also schizoaffective,so its like a theme for me,plus whenever i think of the idea in film i think of my neighbor totoro which i also love, i dont know thats just how i understand it anyway from what little i know, so thanks tammy!
