Binder Question

I've heard that the binders you can get on Amazon, with the hook-closures are not a good idea.  But nowhere do I hear this that I hear why they're a bad idea.  Can someone please enlighten me?  I've got one, and I find it SUPER comfortable, AMAZING looking, and seriously convenient (too tight while driving? just unhook it).  But I'm willing to trade up if someone could explain to me why I should.

 

In case it matters, I have a fairly small chest to begin with, and am a pretty small person all around.

the ones with hooks on the side are more likely to crush your ribs than the gc2b or underworks binders, the hook ones have an all-around chest compression vs the gc2b and underworks which have a compression panel in the front but not the back. the hook binders will make you flatter because of this, but aren't healthy for your ribs. tbh no binders are good for your ribs, but the best quality and safest binders are gc2b and underworks. even though you don't feel too uncomfortable wearing the hook binder, i suggest you purchase a gc2b or underworks binder, they are very comfortable if you get the right size.

Plus, adding on to what Luke said, any binders off of Amazon are unreliable and would usually fall apart. They aren’t nearly as safe as gc2b or underworks, so I recommend playing it safe
