Getting really sick...

CreepyConfusedKid

I've had anemia and other blood issues for a long time...

Problem is that every since quarantine, I've barely been out of the house.

The lack of outdoor activities is making me extremely weak. Even walking is difficult now?

What should I do?

Speak to a doctor. Get outside, but social distance. Speak to a therapist if you’re having a hard time mentally. You need to take care of yourself, first and foremost.

I suggest doing some light warm-ups and stretches, basic exercises like going up and down stairs or if stairs are out of the question lay on your back and pedal in the air while doing crunches towards your knee, try to do it in sets of 5 or 10, move slowly. On Youtube there are instructional videos on basic forms you can do at home to stay fit. If you have a large mirror to use and/or somebody to spot for you that be great and far more safer than exercising by yourself. You want to move slowly and not over stretch your muscle because that can cause more damage. If you like anime and need to be inspired to do more exercises there are plenty of exercise anime that show you how to, cause the internet is cool that way.

I have beta Thalassemia and am also anemic, so I understand a bit of how you feel. The other reason why you can also feel weak is depending on if and when you eat and what your eating? Are you drinking enough/too much water and are you eating too much or too little sugars/carbs? You have to be careful because if you spend too long without sustenance your body won't have the energy to do much of anything. And you need to do exercise. Also get in touch with a doctor about specific dietary needs and other precautions that can be taken to keep you well energized. Stay and be well and safe.

That would definitely be the problem. You need food. Keep a food diary of what you eat and how much weight thumbs up/ thumbs down how it makes you feel, was it even good? Talk with a dietitian, I'm a fast burner, till milk became my enemy, but I'm like 33 adults don't need milk unless you're under weight. But for kids and young adults it's fine, it gives good protein, sugar, and fat. What do you normally eat?

Insufficient nutrition is a really good way to cause full fatigue, but the doctor is where you should start for sure. They may have some vitamin suggestions or daily stretching recommendations. Hydrating is a big help usually too. Hope you can get some answers. I can relate to what you're going through for sure, but not due to covid.

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
