I used to be *CRAZY* for milk growing up until puberty, I would drink 4L jugs in 2 days time.... However once i moved in with my dad, there was never milk so I switched to water, so much healthier and better haha. I gained the 20 pounds because I'm stupid and ordered calzones, poutines, pizza, and other sorts of stuff everyday after my birthday on April 27th up until last week when I realized my bank account was going down and my fat was going up. ? Also can't forget all the rum and iced tea I consumed since then too ugh.

Cheese, pasta and bread is also the enemy, even though it's dangerously delicious and hard to resist. I'd much rather carry the extra weight in my purse than on myself, but it's hard when temptation catches my stomach. At least I can put the purse down. Rum is fine, just not too much cuz it kills the liver. Ice tea is perfectly fine so long as it's not southern sweet tea, that stuff is a treat of a drink but so bad with the sugar.

IM NOT GIVING UP CHEESE, PASTA, OR BREAD JUST SAYING LOL. i'll never be perfectly healthy but i will always satisfy myself while trying to stay as healthy as possible too, I'm just not going to gorge on food anymore, and eat a certain amount of calories a day while drinking up to 8L of water lol. 1 & half hour work out keeps me in balance at 190 pounds for 5"11, which is great imo.

I couldn't give up cheese, pasta or bread either, and I'm allergic to wheat and eggs. But 5'11 at 190lbs you doing fine and can eat pretty much whatever, especially after a 1.5 hour work out. That's in part why you work so hard, all the more good things to enjoy. I'm 5'2" and around 170. Lol...?

awww i couldn't imagine being allergic to wheat and eggs, i know everyone has a different tolerance but could you give me an example of what types of food you shouldn't eat? i use to have an ex that was lactose intolerant and it was the first time i dealt with it so i felt bad for not knowing what types of food she liked.

Well most people who are lactose can't have any dairy products at all or the trips to the bathroom can be fairly painful, it could also really mess with their stomach. But now they have milk with the lactose removed called Lactaid, which is fine still taste like milk but it's expensive. There's also hemp milk, oat milk, rice milk, coconut milk and the less suggested Almond milk, mainly cuz you should be careful bout nuts around people who are allergic. Though nuts like shellfish both are a great sources of protein and have many nutritional benefits, some people can have extremely bad reactions that can end with a hospital visit or death if there's no EpiPen quickly administered. I had to take my EpiPen out of my purse cuz it expired and costs too much to replace.? But regular people should all beware their amounts of starches they eat, like corn, potatoes and wheat. Rice is fairly harmless and is the equivalent of package peanuts, except you can eat it. Corn is the worst becoming plastic glue that sticks in your system for a while. Wheat is the second worst, depending on how it's produced and treated, like white wonder bread, it's glue, don't eat. Potatoes aren't as bad, but it's terrible for your teeth, it's recommended you brush after eating potatoes. But everybody should really be careful of too much fish, cuz too much leads to high levels of Mercury build up. Also stay away from ginseng, it's bad for you, might as well stick to Rum, both are toxic and will poison your liver.

? thanks for the advice!! Everything else i read was extremely informative!  thank you! I actually thrive on 'glue' foods, it makes it easier for me to digest my sriracha sauce LOL. I guess i'll never be able to satisfy myself on this kind of diet though, i'll just have to resort to working out & buying them whenever I need to cook for someone with LT, but seriously, Thank you for existing, I was born deaf so i know what it's like to leave somebody out of something over something they have no control over at all & it saddens me that people actually leave out people with intolerances during birthdays and such.

Madness. My wife is gluten intolerant. I can still bake her a cake, I just need to be careful about what I put in it. There's a lovely GF bakery a couple of miles from the house where we get supplies. By the same token I'm mildly lactose intolerant (I need to limit my intake or intestinal Armageddon happens), so we're careful about our milk products. Also, neither of us is allergic to nuts so almond milk... which is going to be a BIG part of my meal plan today because my diet plan spat out a low carb day. Bleah.

Hugs!

Totally hear you on the Sriracha, that with my coffee intake, I get a hole in my gut each time, but it taste so good. ? I found small Sriracha bottles perfect for purse carrying. Drinking wise, I like having rice or pumpkin beer, sake, vodka, wine, brandy, whiskey(rye), and sambuca(for coffee), and with it only a small piece of cake of either only cheese cake or ice-cream cake. ?Regular cake tastes so good, but it messes my stomach up, and if there are peanuts, it's ruined cuz I'm allergic. But I can have almonds, walnuts, and cashews, so long as they weren't processed in a plant with peanuts or my throat blows up a bit makes it a bit hard to breath. I have an inhaler and allergy medicine I tend to carry but end up needing a small bottle of water sometimes. Use to carry a tiny bottle of sambuca for when I bought coffee but stopped. I liked carrying a tiny bottle of something or once in a blue moon grab a can of Kirin beer or small bottle of sake or something then go to sit quietly and relax in the park. Whiskey is the best for sore throats and clears the sinuses. But haven't had any in over a year. The pandemic just makes me miss it more.?

I saw them on amazon as well! I wanted to get them but it's 15$ for it which i find pretty expensive, so I've been thinking of finding another alternative instead.

ugh i thought i was the only one!! its actually given me a bad taste for them now, maybe its the hormones, or its just a bad experience i had before. Also, i never heard of pumpkin beer omg, that sounds delicious.

I just noticed you're from new york, how are you dealing with things over there?

It's an ever frustrating experience in NY, but staying inside is the best solution for those who can and should. Though there are particular things that make me demon out in anger, cuz it was an epic fail of the world  being reason why I along with millions are stuck with little security of what's to come, and people can be inhumanely selfish, but deep breathes and focus is important to maintain as well as survival. Use to walk for miles but now will have to wait almost a year to hopefully be able to do those adventures outdoors like I use to.

For traveling, I use tinfoil folded into small envelopes or plastic straws cut and folded to make a capsule of sauces, then place into a big mint tin, well cleaned and washed with a small sandwich bag to keep things clean and from spilling out right away in case of accidents. ☺️

Spoken like a true new yorker! Ha! I'm glad you're staying safe and smart!! i couldn't imagine being in NY during this time, That has to be one of the hardest place to live currently. I would have just packed my bags and taken my tent then hitchhike to the middle of nowheres lol.

I found a small bottle I could use, it's not empty yet though, It's a moisturizer/sunblock but perfect for purse carrying. I'll just wait until i use all of it, rinse super well and then fill it up.

ngl, i tried to do something once, where i took an old spray bottle, unscrewed the top and screwed it onto the sriracha bottle. i was so disappointed to find out it doesn't squirt the sauce at all. it has to be fully liquid i guess? But ugh imagine spraying your sriracha onto the food so it comes out all evenly. It would have been perfect.

?I was tempted, I have gear for it but I'm literally a person at risk even in pure nature sadly. Use to walk for everything anywhere in the city, but now switching to delivery mostly, hurts like hell. Was doing so well with PayPal.

Becareful using bottles that once had moisturizer or sunblock in it, cuz stuff is hard to wash out with chemicals and all. No BPA bottles, BPA is that chemical used in some plastic bottles that's toxic but cheap for production. It's not commonly talked bout cuz it's used practically everywhere even though it's toxic like lead, it only takes a little.

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Things are moving quickly now that I have my drivers license and social security card in my new name. It was really affirming when I got my first paycheck in my new name.

Amazingly I have found many cis women are absolutely wrong in their assumptions about bra fittings. I knew an elderly lady that said, "I have been a C cup since school, I just buy a bigger band size as my breasts grow." This is completely WRONG as the band should always fit snug with they gore firmly against the chest.    One of CNA's came into Torrid and I helped her pick out a new bra. She didn't even understand band size was inches and cups/band combo were based off Victorian shirt sizes.  She said, "how do you know so much?"   We found her proper fitting band size, then found a cup she fit.    How can people that take the vast majority of bra users know so little about them? Seems most cis women just use "try it on" only.

As has been said many times, this is not a black and white issue. Sure.  I get it that a MtF person that has gone through full male puberty and "transitioned" 6 months ago probably has an advantage in some sports.  But these bans affect elementary school kids too. I mean, banning trans women from Darts?  Chess?
