It sounds like you aren't excited at all.  I'm sure as i see it is several meetings since your post that the calmness is growing.  Thank you for reminding me of the excitement i felt some time ago.  I had just filled my prescription as a major hurricane approached.  The fact that i had that medication made the storm and the damage it caused bearable.

Enjoy!

Hugs,

Charlize

thank you and even a hurricane won't stop me from making this teleconference - I'm signed in 1-1/2 hours early to make sure I could figure out this zoom thing and mychart.... hope I got it right...☺️

I have my first in office consult today too! Leaving at 2:30 to be there before 4. My wife and I will probably sit in the parking lit for half an hour... But it will be worth it.

It might still be a while before I actually start HRT, but I'm at least getting information for moving forward! Can't wait I'm so excited!!

I can totally understand and I can't say enough about your wife supporting you.

I had my blood tests last week but my HRT NP needed a couple additional tests - so I jumped in my car and had the blood drawn today. I'm not crazy about needles but that should tell you how much this means to me.

Good Luck to you Kaltia - I'll be thinking on you (actually you are there right now).

Please let us know how things go,

Shay

So the appointment went AMAZING!!! I swear, Becca even started getting a little excited and really interested in everything! We learned so much and the Dr has such an amazing personality! We love her!!! And she was straight forward with everything!

After the appointment, Becca and I talked and made a deal. When we have conceived another child, and have our own house, I can start HRT. Between now and then, I can work on electrolysis, and work on vocal training.... So excited!!!

Congratulations @Shay & @Kaltia_Atlas . I know that you’re both very happy right about now. The thought of taking that very first dose is still as fresh in my mind as it was back then. I’m sure you‘ll both will have this memory for the rest of your life. Another huge milestone soon to be completed for the both of you ladies.

Best of luck on your next adventure!

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
