Introduction and reaching out

Holly92

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody, nervous and excited to join the forum!

My name is Holly, I'm 27 AMAB and have just started seriously exploring my gender dysphoria. I think I have known for a long time that I am a bisexual woman, however I have only just come out to my girlfriend and nobody else yet. I am still exploring how I want to progress going forward, but I thought a simple introduction was a great place to start. I'll probably be posting a lot on the other forums, but if anybody that has had a similar experience to me, please feel free to contact me and have a chat :)

Much love,

Holly

Hi @Holly92, nice to meet you. I have likely experienced some of the same things you have. I am also a bisexual woman but that is only part of who I am so we probably have many more differences than likenesses. I would enjoy learning more about those differences if you feel open to sharing them. I’m sure many others here would also.

Thanks for sharing a part of yourself today.

Warmest Regards,

Susan R?

Thank's @Susan R I'd really like to talk about that experience with you, just checking in the best forum/message way of doing that. ?

I’m an open book here so it’s completely up to you. The forum is the best place to discuss most things as others can benefit from reading it. If you have a topic or question too personal for the forum, you can PM myself or any of our great staff here anytime. We are always here to help.

Hi Holly!  Nice to meet you and Welcome!

You've found a great place, and I can see you've already found members you have some commonality with and can connect.
I use PM often when I want to discuss more private details.  Realize these Forum posts are open to public viewing but not your Private messages or blogs.

Your self awareness at your age is a great benefit.  Many of us denied/waited into our late adult years.  But, then ... its not when you start but how you finish.  Wishing you all the best in your journey❣️

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

      I think I lost a friend :(

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
