Hair Management for M2F Daughter

My 12 year old M2F daughter's hair is growing very nicely, fast and she is fortunate to have thick hair. Right now I am using butterfly clips and other clips to pull it back so it doesn't get in her face, this works out so much better than  pony tail for her and it looks nicer. My question is, does anyone know if this puts too much strain on her hair? I want to prevent her hair follicles from falling out that way she maintains as much thickness going through adulthood. She will eventually be on estrogen and I know that helps. Anyone have experience transitioning very young and being able to maintain great hair volume as an adult?

My own hair is plentiful enough although baby fine.  My stylist recommended I use this type of clip for my hair, since the spring loaded butterfly clips can actually cut the hair although it is rare.  I am very active and they do fine for me.  Scunci is the company that makes these.  The picture shows them on one of my wigs just because it was easier than a selfie.  The lower clip is the back side of the upper one, just to show what the whole thing is.

I found a dirty blonde hairstyle. Would you try this model on your kid? I just found it and liked it very much. I think it would go beautiful because your daughter has thick hair.
