You have to leave Nair on for a long time. Be careful, it can burn you. I don't care for that particular product.

Hi

If you have nair for women you may have to let it on a bit longer or apply it more than once.

But be careful not to hurt yourself with it , follow the directions.

Otherwise there is a nair for men that seems to work better than the womens.

You can find it at Walmart or Target and it comes in a spray or cream.

I saw Nair for Men in the store yesterday; never noticed it before so maybe its a new product.

Has anyone had any experience with it, and what the difference is between that and Nair for Women?

Or maybe everyone here has been talking about men's Nair and not the female version.

Oh, I'm just confused.

Hey Carolyn

I used it for a while before I got my epilator.

It works better on the coarse hair than the womens. I liked the spray on type that Target sells, I didn't have to worry about a big GLOB of it falling on the floor.

I tried Nair for Men once, and well, it burned my skin thoroughly, but did absolutely nothing to my hair. However it should be taken into consideration that I have a combination of highly sensitive skin, and way more/thicker hair than your average teen (yay genetics). So yeah.

On the bottle it says don't use it on your face or genitals.

I haven't tried Nair for Men on my face, just the ordinary Nair... and I regretted it badly. :excl: It burned horribly for about 3 days, and didn't actually remove any hair. Ironically it stopped me from shaving because the pain from the water was so bad, so my face was far worse than it was before :P

So, yeah, I really wouldn't risk it... Mind you, I do have very sensitive skin (and mild eczema), so that might have been why, but I'm not going to recommend it after that day

Sweetie,

I simply use BIC Twin Select razors (Silky Touch) to shave my whole body. For me, they work wonderfully. I use a fresh one everyday.

They come in this really cute pink package of ten. You can find in the grocerie store where they sell women's care products.

Love

Shaving my body hair leaves me with the pimply bumps. They hurt like crazy and are ugly besides :( I've had good results with nair, in that it takes most of the hair off, but again with the bumps. Waxing for me!

I didn't mind the nair as far as ill effects. A little burning if I got it in the wrong places, but nothing serious. I just didn't find it to be as effective as it was supposed to be. I'm for waxing, or preferably, laser/electrolysis when I can afford it.

Nair burns me too! (and I'm seeing a trend it seems from the other responses) For my face I shave and apply quite a bit of makeup. Still isn't perfect. Armpits are no issue, those shave very well. As for legs though, I shave but don't get the best results. If the hair is short (which it will be with regular shaving), it usually leaves a visible shadow like the face does. If I let the hair grow out to its max and then shave it (this of course takes forever), it shaves perfectly with no shadow or bumps. I deem this as not fair that natal women have less of a problem with hair management and demand that evolution rebalance this situation for us!

"Exstatic" is an adjective that means feeling great rapture or delight. For example, "His wife gave birth to their first child, and he was ecstatic about it". Synonyms of "ecstatic" include rapturous, entranced, enthusiastic, and frenzied.

Absolutely. Being able to encourage, to help, others is so empowering. I've been helped by so many people over the years, I love being able to pay it forward.

Good morning, everyone!!   A busy day ahead for me - need to cut the grass and then pick up the clippings. The grass grows so quickly this time of year. I cut almost 7 acres so that will take up most of my day. At least I can get some sun on my legs and arms!!   Time for another cup of coffee as I catch up here.   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.

I started shaving my legs years ago - I started getting an occasional mild contact rash on my shins. That became my excuse to shave them for both me and my wife. Over time, the rash didn't expand...but my shaving did. Full legs....groin......chest......and finally my arms. Keeping the rash at bay was my excuse until I came out to my wife. Now I typically do a full shave on Sunday mornings. The hair is lighter but I just feel better with it gone - it helps with the dysphoria and dysmorphia. I will also typically do a chest touch-up mid week since I notice the growth more there.   I wish someone would invent a pill that would stop hair growth everywhere except on your head.

Good morning.   im not sure where the time went.  I had a decent nights sleep,  didn’t  tell Alexa to let me sleep another 5 minutes,  I didn’t do anything extra but it’s almost time to leave and I just got here.  Definitely only a one cup morning.    I have the overhead console out of the Ford. It needed some repairs with toothpicks and glue.  Been sitting all night t for the glue to harden. I’m always to impatient with glue but not this time.  I want it to hold. Ok the next owner won’t be able to change the lightbulbs however in my defense, the are led so they will likely still work when the car goes to the salvage yard.   gotta go. Not as much on my plate at work today but it’s always busy.   Willow

Yes, my programmer friends and I think that antivirus software is a virus.  It's constantly searching your system and slowing it down.  If you install your own OS and software on your machine, and you make backups of your personal files, then you can recover from viruses in an hour or two.  My computer is 10+ years old and is working as good as the first day I had it.   As long as my computer is doing what I want it to do, I don't care if someone is spying on my system.

If you get a ticket, always say not guilty and go to court. Much of the time, the officer will not show up, and often the district attorney or the judge will not want to take the time. They ticket harvest because most people just agree to the fine and send them a check by mail.   If you are not a commercial driver, Most states also have a ticket forgiveness program. You take a little easy Driver's Ed Course, and it doesn't go on your record or increase your insurance prices. Explore your options!
