At TransPulse, we take the privacy of our members and visitors very seriously. This page outlines the information we collect, when we collect it, and what we do with it once we have it.

Log Files

Like many other websites, TransPulse makes use of log files. The information captured in these log files includes IP addresses, browser information, ISP identity, date and time of visit, referring and exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track visitors' movement around the site, and gather demographic information. None of this information can be used to identify you personally.

Cookies

TransPulse uses cookies to track members' login sessions. Cookies are the technology that make it possible for your browser to keep you signed in on the site. If you tell your browser to keep you logged in, or conversely if you tell it to never again ask you if you want your password stored, it will remember your selection by storing it in a cookie. Those are the only circumstances in which you'll find cookies in use on this site.

Personally Identifying Information

When registering to use the site's forums or chat rooms or choosing to receive updates by email, you will be required to provide your email address. You may also choose to provide your name, in part or in full. This information is kept encrypted on secure servers and is accessed by staff only when strictly necessary. It is important to note that, outside of contact for violation of site rules, you must specifically request to receive email from TransPulse. Such requests are generally in the form of new account email validations, lost password requests, or forum notifications by email that you must manually enable.

Financial Information

Donations given online to TransPulse are handled through our payment processor, PayPal. The collection and/or storage of your financial information such as your credit card number is governed by their terms of service and privacy policy. At no time is your financial information held on TransPulse servers, not even for a moment.

Disclosure of Personal Information

TransPulse has a strict policy against the sharing of any information collected from visitors to the site. There are two circumstances under which this information will be released. First, in the event that a predator visits the site to solicit members - especially minors - for inappropriate purposes, we will provide all available information to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Outside of that, we will not release any information given to us in the absence of a court order explicitly instructing us to release certain details.
