Hello, all!

I found this place while searching for excercise tips for transmen and ended up staying to read more and more of the subforums here. I thought... why not join? It feels very comfortable and inclusive and I think, non-judgmental of various ways of being in the world.

So, hi! I'm Jesse. I identify as both 'genderqueer' and also somewhat confused. I believe personally that gender is fluid and non-binary and there are few things that get under my skin more than societal expectations about what I should be and do based on what's between my legs or on my chest.

I'm extremely lucky to live in the heart of the gayest part of San Diego, where I can walk down the street, see rainbow flags in every window and know that no matter who I hold hands with, I won't get dirty looks or beaten up.

Nothing makes my day quite like being called 'sir', even when it's followed shortly by "OH MY GOD, I'm SO sorry! Ma'am!"

My passion is illustration and my hobbies are writing and costuming. I don't generally pass as a man on a daily basis, but when I make and wear my costumes, I can't get enough of the feeling of 'becoming' someone else, and watching people around me wonder just who exactly is under that tailored suit, or chinese robe.

What else? I'm unemployed, freelancing and taking commissions for artwork when I can, happily almost-married, struggling to get healthy and gain muscle, feeling old now that I've just passed the quarter century mark, going back to school for my master's and just in general trying to figure out what I want to do with myself and my life.

And that's me in a very small nutshell!

Glad to be here!

Oh, well....welcome to the Playground, anyway....LOL!

It's so very nice to have you here.....

It seems that you may have looked around for a bit so you know that I'll have some pizza and cold drinks for you!

And, right again..we don't judge and we're moderated (what I'm doing right now!) to keep everyone safe!

I think it's wonderful that you checked it out and decided to join! That just proves how good we are....hee hee hee!

Awww, Sweetheart...kick those shoes off and wiggle your toes!

Make yourself all comfortable and relax.....OK?

Others will be aroumd when they smell the pizza and say "Hi" to you!

Nice to have you!

HUGGS!

Donna,

Thank you for the warm welcome! Just from the way I see you interact with people here, and your words for me, I already feel taken care of. You're an awesome mom!

Mm pizza. Don't mind if I do!

I love being barefoot, so it'll be hard to get me back in those shoes once I kick them off!

It's so great! It's perfect for someone who isn't quite sure where they fit in, and there's so many people and so much to explore that there's no pressure to identify until one is ready to.

Thank you so much for the welcome!!

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
