Hello Everyone.

I am a 40 year old heterosexual crossdresser.

Like many others, I have always had the urge to crossdress since I was an early teen. I remember putting on my mother's pantyhose and high heels when i was 12 or 13. It felt so good.

I never lost the urge and when I was in my early 20's and living in a one bedroom apartment, I purchased my first pair of high heels which were 2 sizes too small, pantyhose, and a dress. I dressed several times but never got the desired look and finally tried to subdue the urge and threw the shoes, pantyhose, and dress in the dumpster, trying to forget my urges.

I got married but never let go of the crossdressing urge.

After several years of marriage, the urge has gotten stronger and just last week I finally broke down and spent $250 on two pairs of high heels, two pairs of pantyhose, a sexy lingerie, wig, dress, and a sexy skirt. They haven't came in yet but I cannot wait Until they do. My wife and kids are planning an overnite shopping trip and that will be the night to play with my new toys and become Kelli Ann. I cannot wait.

I am always looking at other women in a heterosexual way but I also look at them and admire what they w

ere.

I am so glad I found this site. I am looking forward to participating in these forums.

Hi Kelli Anne,

Welcome to the site!

Oh boy, do I know that tale! I too have had periods where I trashed everything declaring (to myself) that that was it! Never again!

Didn't last long! Now I've got a nice wardrobe of tops, blouses, skirts, even a few dresses (bit hard with top of body one size, the other a different size), but I manage. Plus a load of shoes and boots that fit (UK 8EE or UK 9) and loads of underwear and nightwear too.

After a stressful day (or week) nothing better than drawing the curtains, shutting the world out and becoming Petra Jane, if only for a night!

Again, welcome to the site.

Welcome to the playground, Kelli Anne. I hope you really enjoy your adventure. If you haven't spoken with your wife yet about your crossdressing, I highly recommend you find a way to do so. Leaving hints as to your nature doesn't work. They will assume you are having an affair. Also, you will find you don't need to purge your things, as well as the chance of finding a shopping buddy. I am learning a lot of fashion techniques from my wife as to what looks good on me. To be honest, I should have told her before we married.

In addition to this site, Tri Ess is a nationwide organization for heterosexual crossdressers and their families. I myself am a member as well as other members of this forum. If you join, it will give you an outlet to dress and meet with other sisters.

Hello Kelli Ann,

Welcome to Laura's Playground forums. If you ever have an urge to purge your girl things again, think twice. It can get really expensive. :D

It would be fitting if he took a dip in the ocean while he is up there in Massachusetts and the great white eats him. Maybe it is just me, but tell me again how this guy is supposed to be a great actor?? I just do not get that vibe. It is mind of matter. It is my mind and he doesn't matter.

Slide rules ruled. Wow, that takes me back to the 70s. We actually had to solve problems with longhand in some situations. No calculators where I was. They were just beginning to emerge. My dad had a simple calculator that could add, subtract, multiply, and divide. That was state of the art for the time. Reading was actually required to get through school. There were no PCs, no YouTube, no Google. VHF antennas ruled. Few folks had cable. I would take that all over again.

SPOCK: Life as we know it is universally based on some combination of carbon compounds, but what if life exists based on another element? For instance, silicon.

Welcome @Arushi!  My opinion is there is no right/wrong about this.  You know, it's natural for people to perceive you differently and act differently if you present differently than you normally do.  My Zen meditation background makes it easy for me to just do my own thing, but you know, if you go out in public you also have to deal with other people and their thing.  That reminds me of the stoic books I've been reading the last few years that talk about being in a "forum".  So this is a virtual forum here and being here was a step in bringing my transgender side out into the public.   Hugs, Lydia

@Arushi - Actually, to put it more simply, a friend of mine had a phrase that became very important to me.    How can it be wrong when it feels so right?
    • Timi
Thank you for sharing, @Arushi. I'm hearing how in your element you feel when dressed as a woman. I think that the feelings you have are the best answer to your questions.    In my journey, I'm finding that once I started opening up to myself and to other people, things started to change within me, sometimes unpredictably. Some of the best advice that I have received is to be gentle to myself.    I am glad you found this group and I hope you find support and community here.    -Timi

"We have no knowledge of who the hell we are, and if we don't get it back soon we're all going to die," Dreyfuss said in a video captured at the event.   Richard Dreyfuss's comments on women and LGBTQIA+ community at Jaws event prompts cinema to apologise - ABC News   His shrill comments have exposed him as someone who has lost the plot.

You are so welcome Charlize. I think it is too late for that hope, though. On release of the Cass review the New York Times called Hilary Cass "the hero we need in these times". I hate to think what the right is going to do with this, and I know it has already been referred to by those justifying bans on gender-affirming care in the US.
    • Timi
Oh wow! Congratulations to you too, @Mirrabooka!

I'm moving and my house is almost empty except for my two homemade MAME systems!  I should be in here alone with them for at least a month!

Thank you for your service and efforts for the community! I hope our right wing doesn't take this "stud\y" as a talking point.   Hugs,   Charlize

Bit of a mini-vacation for us starting tomorrow. Going to Melbourne and seeing the Odd Couple play and staying over, then flying to Adelaide on Friday and going to the soccer that night, a friendly game between the Australian women's side and China. Back home on Saturday. It's how we roll. 😎
