For starters, you can all call me Justin. It's not my real name, but it's the one I think I've come to prefer. I'm not entirely sure how to identify myself genderwise, mostly because I'm pretty unfamiliar with all of the different terms (transsexual, transgender, androgynous) so if I use one of those incorrectly, just let me know. ;) I've always known I was uncomfortable in my body but I didn't start to really think about it until a few months ago, and some internet research led me here! First off let me say what a great site this is. Everyone seems very welcoming and nice.

I guess I'll start out by saying that I've always identified with guys more. Throughout childhood and especially in my teen years my friends were all guys. I had a few girl friends, but I never felt like I fit in with them as well as I did with my guy friends. They all wore makeup and put thought behind their outfits and worried about their hair. I've never done any of that.

I like wearing guys clothes, although sometimes I'm forced into my girl clothes until I do my laundry ;). I'm definately more comfortable looking like a guy, and I'd like to be able to pass as one. One day I might even like to have the body of one, but that is a very VERY distant thought right now. Yet at the same time, I'm not entirely masculine either. I'm not a gearhead and I hate working with my hands. If I have the definition of androgynous down, I think that sounds more along the lines of what my identity might be, probably leaning towards male. If that makes any sense. Anyway I've been hanging around the forums for quite a while now and finally decided that sooner or later I would have to find my own answers instead of looking at other people's, so here I am.

As far as pronoun usage goes, go ahead and use the male pronouns for me. I like the feel of it better.

Looking forward to getting to know some people and posting some things!
