I Am Intersexed Raised As A Girl

Olá,

Please I am new to here and wish to say hello.

I was born intersexed and I come from the Favelas in Rio de Janeiro to Brasil. I am living to now to the UK for 2 years now.

I see someone has mentioned about to the menses and is so possible? Yes is so because to this I had since the age of puberty and to this stopped at the age of 28. Maybe because to this I take to the Progesterone depo's maybe? I have a cervis but small to my ultra scans and to this I also haves the endometriosis. I start to the hormones at the age of 10 and developed well to the gynae shape, petite and so like the Tanner V to ribcage ratio, and to this não adams apple and so my voice is so like to a girl/woman of course because to this I am now 36. But to my insides is a mess.

Although I am so very happy as a female, life has been complicated to the extreme, problema after problema to the medical complications. But, to this I am so happy to be me and I think to be intersexed is so very special, like so to the Transsexual/Transgendered girls and boys too are so very special and so very beautiful.

I was raised by Transsexuals and Transgenderd girls in Brasil since I was 5 years old and to this they make so much the most beautiful caring mothers because we all look out for eachother in our communities and to this they are the biggest part of my life and I am so proud to this.

My medical issues are still ongoing as I haves so many specialists I am under and will need further surgery.

So please, if I can be of any assistance? You please ask to me whatever you wish to know and so much I would like to help to others with all my heart.

Muito Obrigada.

Isabella, please let me welcome you to Laura's. It's so great to have you here. I don't

think we have a lot of members from South America.

It sounds like you have had a very interesting and difficult life. I look forward to hearing

more about it. I do hope that your medical issues are resolved and you gain health and

happiness very soon.

Please make yourself at home here. You will find many friends, I'm certain. Look through

the various forums and if you don't find all the answers you seek, post your questions and

someone will help out.

After five posts you are allowed to send private messages (PM's) to other members if you

feel the need to have a private conversation.

I hope you find Laura's to your liking. It's a wonderful place.

This is a multiple welcoming to Laura's - as we three moderators are on a holiday together - and watching our favorite site, Laura's Playground. Some of us are familiar with Spanish -- but know nothing of Portuguese. So please be patient with us - but your English is very understandable.

We are so proud to have you here. A female raised Intersexed individual is so unique - and the Intersexed are under-represented here.

So Ola - the Spanish version - and hello!

We are so glad to meet you!

Please help yourself to double chocolate-chip cookies and coco...

Lizzy, Donna Jean, and Sally

boa vinda - boa vinda - boa vinda

Hello Isabella,

Welcome to Laura's Playground. It is so nice that you have found us. Being from Brazil, I think there is much that you can teach us and there is much that you can learn from us too. Now that you have introduced yourself, come on in and look us over. I think you will like what you see.

Olá,

I wish to say Thank You for all your kind welcoming words to me.

You say also I am welcome to here into the 'Family' of The Lauras Playground. This is so beautiful, because I have não family of my own, and this is something I really need so much for me.

I could not reply so much sooner than to now because I have been spending most of my time trying to get my life sorted out and it seems to be endless with all the medical problemas I have. I am also having counselling because of the traumas I have experienced throughout my life since a child. I have been studying my English Literature as well, so I hope my spelling is better than before?

Elizabeth K she write: Boa Vinda Boa Vinda. :)

Muito Obrigada Elizabeth,

Chego aqui seguramente obrigado, e espero estar a serviço a outros. Also Olá is the same in Português do Brasil and Oi means Hi.

The double chocolate-chip cookies and coco sounds so nice thank you.

I will keep this fairly short tonight. But I would like to say one thing please; I have a high infinity to both TS and TG peoples as well as to Intersexed. We are all Very Unique not just in ourselves, but to this we have a unique bond that brings us all together. I had a quick look to the Lauras Playground, it is so Grande 'Big' I get lost in this Playground? I think this Lady Laura must be a very special person to make such a wonderful place for so very many people. I've only been here a short time and I say Muito Obrigada to Laura.

Now that I am here, please feel free to ask me anything you wish.

Yes of course I have a lot to offer, I am sure I can also learn so much from others to the Lauras Playground too.

Tchau

Até mais tarde

Isabella.

I have a question for you. Will you teach me to speak Portuguese? Pretty please????

^_^

*Hugs*

Welcome to Laura's

Shi

Oi Shilo Oi means 'hi'

Posso ajudá-lo a aprender portugues quando estou aqui, mas não estarei aqui cada dia como tenho tantas coisas a fazer. Mas posso ajudar um pouco que não é nenhum problema.

Translation to English

I can help you to learn Português when I am here, but I will not be here each day as I have so many things to be done. But I can help a little is não problema.

The Português I falar 'speak' is not from Portugal do Europa so to this eu falar Potugeses do Rio de Janeiro Brasil 'gíria de rua do Travesti/TG e TS.' A street slang invented by the Travesti for protection against police and youths who rob them and acause harm to them 'a polícia e os jovens que os roubam e lhes causam o dano.'

' the policy and the young steal that them and cause they the damage.

So if I teach you a little Shilo you must please understand this is my language background.

I like your nome is nice. What is the meaning of Shilo?

Olá Shane :D so nice of you. I would like to get to know equally. Please feel free to ask me any questions. It would also be so nice to hear more about you too.

I would like to hear more about TS Guys as I don't think there is not enough on this and there should be more. Whenever I see the documentaries on the television about TS guys I am glued to this because to me I think TS Guys are so Wow! So impressive to me. I admire all TS Guys your achievements for who you are is just so fantastic.

Olá Mike,

It is so nice you came to here to say hello to me. Thank you. I am lost for words? :D This is not normal for me?

Like I say to Shane. Wow! because to this I have so much respect for you, I feel really honoured. Please keep in contact with me, I would like to know so much more you as a person, your journey, how you feel now, what you would like to achieve for yourself in the future, your outlook on life. You see, I have a rare Intersexed condition and spent my life as a girl and I also have seen too much pain in one life. But to the men like to you and Shane and so many others, you too have a powerful story and to this I really would like to know so much if you do not mind. Thank you again.

I haven't taken blockers since the surgery.

Good morning   well its big bike week this week American/Canadian made. Followed almost immediately with metric bike week.  And let’s not forget the Myrtle Beach Classic golf tournament last week.  Our business has been very busy. So much so I need to leave earlier to make certain I get my work done before I have too many people in the tpstore and can’t get it done.   Hi ho silver and away   Willow

I guess this was commonplace in females. But if your prostate gland is still in place this can contribute to urinal difficulties too.

https://www.hrw.org/news/2024/05/15/peru-chooses-bigotry-medical-services     The Health Ministry tried to put the best face on this unscientific gibberish of a decree, but it won't diminish the harm it will do to the Pervian trans community.  They undoubtedly already suffer from severe discrimination and bigotry in a very macho-opriented society.   Carolyn Marie

I'd never heard of it until reading this.  From the thread title I thought it had something to do with the state of Idaho.  But perhaps combined with something about Hobbits, which seemed odd.  My brain goes in weird directions.
    • VickySGV
I had my surgery 11 years ago, and yes, I too find it much more of an urgent thing than it ever was before.  One possible culprit is going to be T blockers if you are still on them, also the urethral sphincter which holds the pee back is closer to the urethral opening now and more subject to stimulation. When we gotta go we gotta goooooo!!
    • VickySGV
I notice that the Wikipedia article does not mention the U.S.A. which I can understand a bit.  The entire month of June here is Pride Month for all the organizations and is tied to the 1969 Stonewall Inn riots in New York and also our medical authorities are also not tied as thoroughly to the WHO as they are to the American Psychological and American Psychiatric Associations which write the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health which is generally in line with the WHO which does not play as big a part in our medical practices here.  The WHO does not impact us the way it does the other world countries which is why we are in the dark about the day.  Ironically though, one of the U.S. States is named Idaho which sadly is one of the most conservative and frustrating to the U.S. LGBTQ Community.   The day is international though in the sense of other European and Southern Hemisphere countries it seems.
    • Mirrabooka
Hmm. Must have been that pesky 'International' word which made me assume that it was well known! I only became aware of it myself last year.   Brief history: May 17th is the day IDAHOBIT is acknowledged as it is the anniversary of when in 1990 the World Health Organization declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder. It was conceived in 2004 and first celebrated in 2005. It has gone on to include trans folk in 2009 and bi folk in 2015.   International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia - Wikipedia

A year and a half post op. I've noticed that once the urge to pee hits, I can only hold it for about 15 minutes or so until it gets to the point where I feel like I'm going to piss myself. I used to be able to hold it a lot longer (as I  remember it).  I know my urethra is a bit shorter now, but I don't think it is enough to account for this. Am I imagining it?

It's also networking.  Sometimes jobs come along because someone knows someone else - these older people might know someone.  "Hey, Ashley," someone might say,"My nephew is looking for love. He likes tall women. Whatcha think? Can he call you?"   Don't discount their ability to match make.  It is about networking.

He is simply doing to get more votes. He held a Trump for trans during his first run and found out the majority of his voters were against us so he simply followed the crowd.
