I have had glasses before but they have always made me look...well..girly. I was wondering what type of glasses I should get to help make my face look a little more male. I tried adding a picture of me but it is too big and won't shrink down. So here is a like to my gallery to let you see what I look like.

If you could put pictures of glasses that would be great. I'm not to good with words and descriptions.

I think you would look great in aviator glasses. The best illustration is actually a movie, the Tom Cruise movie Top Gun. Straight stems, metal frames around the lenses. Looking at your picture, a definite Tom Cruise Top Gun aviator comes to my mind.

Joey, I can't offer a specific suggestion on style.

I've worn wire frames for years and they come in a variety of styles.

I suggest you visit a couple of stores like Frame and Lens and try on different

ones. they should match your color and facial shape, but you won't know what

works best unless you try them on. I have dark hair and my frames are silver

around the lenses, but have brown sides (the part that goes back to the ears).

Most guys don't have a lot of color in ther frames and they tend to be oval

or rectangular in shape.

IDK if this helps any, but good luck.

I've got a pair of unisex frames and I love them! I used to have regular looking aviator style so going from such a large lens to the glasses I wear in pics I've posted took a little while to get used to but, I love them.

I really like large, athletic glasses. They are very masculinizing.

I know this is an old thread but it's the only one i found related to glasses. My issue is actually the opposist of the original poster's. I am trying to find a style of glasses that would make me look more feminine.cause unfortunately contacts are a no go cause my eyes dry out too quickly for them. and Lasik is also out of the option as for my eyes it's a muscle issue that is causing my poor sight, not a shape issue. at least that's what the optometrist here says. so it looks like i'm stuck with glasses.

Just buy some cute female glasses. To save money, try online glasses stores like Zenni Opitical and Eye Buy Direct. I have bought from both before and have loved their products. You don't even need a current prescription, but you will need to know what it is. Plus your pupil distance, and glasses size.
