Breast Forms

I am just curious what other ladies out there prefer as far as what size and type of breast forms you prefer? I am 5 11 and 180lbs. I have the gold seal size 7 breast form from the breast form store which is a 38DD bra size, I love them, but am thinking of buying something a little smaller such as a c cup. If anyone has any info or suggestions, please let me know. I'm curious because most lingerie doesn't fit large forms.

Matie, I've thought some about the breast forms I have. I'm not quite your size. They're just silicone filled teardrop inserts (and still cost a fair amount from about 15 years ago!), probably just a little bigger than what would be normal or natural. And it's been so long, I can't tell you the cup size, probably a D, I would guess. I remember reading somewhere that first time users tend to get them a little larger and wear them higher than they probably should, but I think it's also a personal preference.

Unless you're trying to dress to pass, though, I think whatever makes you feel comfortable. When I wear them with a lot of my clothes, they do seem to fit appropriately, only one or two things looked a little stretched. And some of that is unfortunately still me.

The other thing I've read is that a lot of cisgendered women often wear the wrong size brassiere for their bodies. I have no idea how I would ask someone in a store for the right size for me.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Any store that deals strictly in lingerie should have someone on staff that fit you properly for a bra. We've got stores nearby that actually advertise the fact in the window :D

I bought mine on-line and could only guess what size they would be on me.

They turned out to be a DD.

I would prefer a C Cup so if I ever go public enfemme I will need to get some new ones.

Shilo, I'm slow this morning.

It took me a minute or two to figure out what was so funny.

Now I get it!!!!

I'm on HRT and getting my own!

But on our Memphis trip...on the day of the Graceland excursion....Lizzy insisted I wear a pair of breast forms that she had extra...

Never had any before!

I'm totally content with my little A+'s right now, but I wore them anyway....

I couldn't see my feet.........

Hardly could button my blouse....

I felt like Mae West........But, at least I had a place to put my camera!

Back home a week later, my wife was looking at the pics of the trip...when she got to the "Graceland" pictures she looked up at me...her eyes were huge!

"OMG WHAT DID YOU DO??????"

I said.."What?" Hee Hee...

Dang...that was awkward!

She is used to the ones that I have naturally!

HUGGS!

chloe what size are you, i just find it's hard to wear a tank top or lingerie because the forms i have are large, i would like some smaller for a different look i probably got them a little large but that was kinda the point for me, as for now i dress more and maybe just thought a smaller size would fit some lingerie i bought prior to having forms, i never go out so it's all at home for me. thanks

um, you're asking me sort of a difficult question. Anything I may put down will most likely draw some raised eyebrows (if not more ;) ). Do you mean the breast form or my size in women's numbers? Or men's sizes. (that's really easy, I'm an off the rack, pure medium)

I think the whole women's size thing changed some years ago but years after I first started dressing, and I only sort of knew it then. Didn't everything go up? (8>10, 10>12, etc?) I think and this is sort of guess, if I wear my shaping stuff (I'm not yet into cinchers or corsets, but one or two steps up - body shaper, panty girdle, braselette), I think a size 12, and sometimes a slightly roomier 10, but please don't go by what I think.

...

ok, this is a few minutes later - I looked at three of my tops, a pullover, and two blouses that have front buttons. One blouse is a 14 and it's just a little too roomy, but it looks attractive, the other is a 10 and it's just a little tight with the forms in but fits through the arms, the neck, the shoulders. The pullover is a 12 and it actually feels the best. (and obviously right now, 10 would be a goal)

So, there you go. Hope it helps

matie,

actually if you click on 'My Gallery' to the left under my avatar, you'll see how I looked back about 10 lbs lighter then I am now. And half of that gain in my middle, ugh. So it may give you an idea of my size.
