The Ex Spends The Night...oh My

Gooooood Morning My Sisters,

Well, unfortunantly my exes mom had to go back into the hospital.

She is seventy four, stubborn and a you can't tell me what to do

kinda lady. She was being taken to the hospital right by my place

and since she told my girls that she loves me(the real me) again,

I get to visit her this time.

Then came the shocker...My ex and youngest were spending the

night. Will wonders never cease, the Gosh darned has been breached, the

Berlin wall torn down. For the first time in over six long years,my

family would be sleeping under my roof.Of course I was relegated

to the couch, but who cares,my ladies were going to sleep in my bed.(Yaaaaay!)

The ex started calling me by the male pronouns and name, and the

youngest shot that down with a quickness."She is a woman, she and

her Mom,she is not a he." Now you know that made me smile to my

core,it has taken all this time, for my youngest to fully accept me.

Mae(youngest) saw my picture from one of the banquets I attended.

"Dad,that don't even look like you,she is pretty and I love that hair."

Of course being of the younger generation, she had to share that image

with her sister and all her friends, who I happen to all know "Look this is

my dad,can you believe it?" (grin)

We talked about everything, without anyone getting upset for once,or

thinking I am being selfish.(a first) It was nice talking them through going

to Thailand and what my surgery entails.(which made them both wince)

My ex even said that it is obvious I really like guys, but was afraid to

admit it.(Wrong again turkey breath). I told them I like guys, make no

qualms about my choice in who I would like to be with in the end. Then

she really made my night when she said,"I hope all of us girls get the

good man we all deserve and we have a chance to get married." (sigh)

Acceptance is mine to the fullest extent, and worth all the pain of those

long lonely years of isolation. I owe my oldest a deep debt of gratitude.

For without her reaching out to get to know me as a woman, none of this

would have happened in the time that it did.The ladies are spending a few

days with me as exes momma recovers.Asked me if I minded,"Not in the

least." is all I could say.My family is acting as a single unit again. Will wonders

never cease and I am so bless to have them active in my life again.

Smiles and Hugs,

Angelique Michelle

Oh my Angelique,

That is the best story I have ever heard - thank you for sharing.

Bless your little one for truly understanding and all of your family for finally accepting the way things have to be.

I assume that your Ex's mom is doing well and that you will continue this wonderful reunion.

Love ya,

Sally
