that but you know what sisters?????? my clothes have taken over my home . Thread by thread I am getting rid of as much of the

"offending " rags as I can, ( have not crossed the line to happiness yet but ya know that light at the end of the tunnel ??, I can see it )

but but but :o / I cant win , , I feel like Im in the middle of one of those x files episodes and Im waiting for Moulder and Skully

to save the day ,,,,,heeeeeeeeeeeeelp, I have no room, my home has been invaded !!!!!by blouses 8, by skirts 6, by dresses 6, by sweathers

10, by coats 4, by slacks 7 , by jeans 9, by shoes, oh I really am tooooooo embarrassed to admit that one (lots B), my bedroom is knee deep

in tights(pantyhose), knickers and bras. Perfumes and makeup  ..........I mean girls, the list goes on .....and on :o . now, this problem wont

be around forever as in 12 months max those gatecrashing mens rags will be evicted ......forever :D Thing is untill then I could do with

some advice......I guess we have all gone through this "transitory" clothes phase till normality, peace etc arrives but, please , will

somebody ....anybody......please tell me what to do. Huggs, Luv, Nervous anticipation, Viv.

Baby....I can truly sympathize!

My "guy" things used to take up minimal space in my closet...

Now my closet (which is 5' wide) is so packed that I can hardly get a piece in or out...And I just can't stop buying!

Hey wait!

Why am I complaining....?

After all, it's what I wanted!....lol

First I would take the time and pleasure of arranging all your new

girly stuff in your dresser and closet.Whatever room you may have

left, you allow for your drab clothes.I would pare down the male shoes

and wear, leave only enough to get you through until you go full time.

Believe me,it is so very freeing when you know that the man clothes

are going to be going bye bye.I would just give them to a good cause.

I remember my time at your stage. Now I am a whole lot like Dee Jay.

I have a closet full of womens ware that is so packed and just can't

stop myself from buying.Goodwill is a very good friend of mine(smile).

Goodwill is a nation wide chain of thrift stores that are my favorite place

to re-up my wardrobe and accessories, for a very reasonable price.

Hugs Viv,

Angie

I have the same problem if I don't open my closet carefully it will look like a clothes bomb went of in my bedroom. My main problem is I gained allot of weight and am now trying to lose it and I refuse to throw out my skinny clothes, there some of my nicest stuff. Larry is getting mad at me because my stuff takes up so much space. I don't know what to tell you, I need options too.

Angie....

Goodwill is my very favorite place of all...

Many times I buy things that still have the store tag on them and are brand new...

I can go in there and spend $20 and get 3 tops, 2 skirts, and a sweater ...

How can you go wrong?

And when I get home, if something doesn't fit, I just drop it back off at Goodwill the next week when I shop again..

A few weeks back I drove right by Goodwill without stopping...Darcy felt my forehead to see if I was sick....lol

HUGGGGGGGS!

I'm lucky enough that my master bedroom has two closets and my guest room has a wall closet as well. With the three closets and a dresser I have managed to keep my cloths off the floor but I am still rapidly running out of space. I went through my mens wardrobe and threw out the older shirts and pants that I had kept around before from the time when I was so jaded that I didn't give two craps what I wore because they all sucked anyways. That bought me one drawer in the dresser and 5 hangers worth of space to convert. I guess I'm lucky to have a house all to myself. I'd consider maybe getting a room mante for extra money but not right now while I am in limbo.

Hi Viv,

I hear you! Filled three large trash bags with guy clothes this weekend - off to the Salvation Army with those. But it's tough to have two wardrobes.

I don't suppose that a larger apartment is an option?

Love, Kat

Oh Kat,

If I open up to the people I rent from (governmental funded housing ) when I go full time I guess they will treat me

humanely re a "move " and if so I will ask if they will give me a bigger apartment , you never know till you ask, as

they say. Aircraft Hanger .....please  Thanks Kat, Luv, Viv.
