Containing The Excitement

Ladies:

I will ask you all to think back to when you first started hormones and the rush of feelings and excitement that race through your mind. The first number of weeks really nothing was happening; the last week or so some tingling in the nipple area but the last few days my skin has absolutely gotten soft.

I keep rubbing my arms and hands to see if it real, and it is - My skin is much muhc softer. I have to wait about a half year or so before I can jump out into the world as a woman, but I am hoping the physical changes will be well on their way and I am SO excited about the upcoming changes and can only hope that the fat redistribution, the breast and areola/nipple growth and the mental changes are well on the way.

I have never been so in tune with my mnd and body and I can begin to imagine how wonderful and different a bath will feel; I have been a shower type of person in the past. Has anyone else started to enjoy bathing more often as opposed to showers?

I enjoy reading the stories and experiences and I am learning so much from all of you and thanks for everything!

oooo hot bubbly bath nothing like it to sooth the soul. In the nearly 4 months Ive been on hormones my skin has softened beautifully, the hairs have started softening and lightening out, I seem to be one of the lucky ones since it has nearly clobbered my beard growth (YMMV on this). The scales say I am putting on weight but I can't for the life of me see where. Now if I could loose this cycle my body is setting up id be fine

I love a long hot relaxing bath, showers are for when I have some place I must be.

And new sister,Welcome to your womanhood and the journey of your lifetime.

Yes our skin gets baby soft and freaks out those who knew the old us that it has

become so girlishly soft.I am Angie,in transition thirty months today...yay.

Wait until those womens arms start coming, and that wonderfully hairless body.

You have a lot to look forward to on this magical long journey,as the changes

keep slowly but steadily happening.

Big Soft Hugs Paula,

Angie

Oh my....

Welcome to womanhood, Honey...

I'm 9 months in and it's all happened to me , too....

Soft skin is the thing that I REALLY like (breasts are great, too, but......)

And taking care of it is paramount!

It cuts/tears so easy now....

So, long hot bathtub soaks are in order followed by a nice fragrant lotion!

Yes... that skin is soft now...I love it!

Huggs!

My favorite scent is Lavender.I use it with my liquid soap and body lotion.

Mmmmmm so feminine.I lotion immediately after bathing, while my body

is still damp.My skin absorbs it so easily and I feel so silky soft and fragrant.

I love being a girl,truly I do.

I am trying to contain a great big belly laugh here, only bc i am at work still. I was just thinking how I would have decried this conversation as recently as 6 months ago. How girly, sweet smelling things, yeah ok what ever.. now I cant get enough of nice smelling things and lovely soft fabrics

Angie......

I tend to have dry skin and here in the north, winter plays helll with it. The dry air from the furnaces and such...

I use a product from Melalauca called "Renew"...

It's silky smooth and has a pleasent smell that doesn't clash with your perfume...

Kinda pricy, though..$20 for 20oz......

But after a shower or bath it is wonderful!

Stay soft, Honey!

That's the one thing I don't like about larry and my new apartment, just a shower. Because our place is designed for the disabled a roll in shower is what we got stuck with. I miss my bubble baths as well as long soaks in dead sea salts for healing some of my skin aliments.

All this talk about baths is making me want to go home and soak in a nice warm tub!

I'm not on hormones, but I've found after showering and shaving, putting Aveno moisturizer on my arms, legs (partially shaved) and shaved middle parts feels awesome! I get a nice softness that last almost all day! It got a little tough when I was shaving my underarms. I use mineral salts instead of anti persperant and it stung a bit. So I use baby powder on my underarms and the middle parts.

Any alternatives for delicate areas?
