Thank you, Suzie and Sally, for your support.

Coming from a long line of veterans (my greatgrandfather was in the Civil War, my Grandfather was in WWI, my father in WWII, I served in the VietNam War, and my son in the Gulf War), I just want to express my gratitude for those who can separate the conflict from the people who serve. You may have your own opinions about any action our country engages in, but for the men and women who volunteered and served, to know that there are people who care about them and the job they did, is really a great feeling.

Thanks Suzie and want to wish all my fellow veterans a great Veteran's Day. I also am from a long line of veterans, not only me in Iraq, but also my brother who was a marine in the Gulf War, my dad in Vietnam, my grandfather in WWII, uncles in the military and wars. In fact my family has had someone in the military back to Civil War and possibly the Revolutionary War.

Welcome home to all of us who served and a salute to all those who will never again answer the roll call when their name is called.
