Awesome!

I'mma go do that whenever I have some free time.

It'll be great to see fellow transmen, transwomen and transpeople, although putting up with dumb comments is unfortunate.

I'll be sure to check out your videos, and I must say, you're very brave for doing it. Youtube is so public... and I prefer my privacy. I'm really sensitive, so I don't think I could endure the bad comments if I did something like Youtube or Myspace.

Youtube is way cool... One thing that is sad though is, getting to know peeps by their V-logs and after you watch their growth and progression, they sometimes disappear leaving you wondering if they are ok, or just went on to other things.

As far as some of the mean comments people receive, wouldn't they just serve to help the V-loger prepare for the real world? humanity displays both infinite wisdom, and infinite stupidity...

thnx michelle. but you know it didnt come to mind that i would be shown off through out the whole world if ppl saw. but yeah it didnt even come to me that i would be all nervous and afraid of what people might think. i just thought it would be cool just to do it. and plus i have my times when i dont have a life haha.

yea it sux when ppl finally start transitioning and you see how far they have gone and they just suddenly disappear. like this one dude. he was on his 26 weeks video and he just disaapeared. but i supposed he is taking the rest from his chest surgery or he probably just doesnt have time for that any more. so yeah its pretty sad. but then you find new ppl starting their transition and its cool.

as for comments. i havent gotten any of those yet. but if i do im sure ill be ready. because all it is is people that dont know anything or they are just stupid and its just over some lame computer that they cant do anything else but say bad things. i've seen mean comments to those who have been on youtube longer and have more subscriptions and to those that get em sometimes reply to them and it gets ugly. so i go with what bethany says.

There are some really nice FtMs and MtFs on YouTube. At the same time, there are some pretty harsh ones who have a little too much anger in them. Not only do they attack everybody in their videos, but then also attack those that reply with a comment.

(I'm thinking of a certain individual, but naming her would probably be against the rules or something. So if you're curious as to who to avoid, let me know.)

I wanna do some YouTube stuff! :o I just don't have a camera. XD

Brandt, I watched your videos finally. You are such a cutey boy! I like your voice and love your hair. It's very inspirational to me that you're so young, but you're so mature and know what you want from life. I wasn't anywhere near as intelligent at 15, I was lost and broken, and I guess I didn't really grow up until I was past 20. It led me to watch other videos too. I like karmatic1110 and etherealkingdom. And yes, there are bad comments, but it's not nearly as bad as I thought. I like how the authors are tough and ask the bad commenters what they're even doing viewing transsexual material if they aren't curious about themselves and just hiding it. :) It makes me want to do vlogs of my own...maybe someday.

Hehe, I have an idea for a short film where I'm going to take advantage of the fact I'm going to transition X-D. (A friend suggested and I just figured, might as well right?)I just need to get myself enough courage to come out to few of my filmmaker friends. ^^ I might upload a trailer one day on the tube once it gets rolling. :)

Yeah, on youtube, I was pleasantly suprised to see not much bad comments...and if there are, everybody else just bashes the not a very nice person who bashed the transgirl/boy. Supportive people are great. X-D

I am an evangelical  I am also transgender.  This is an issue. I have read up on it.  I am not an expert, but I have done a lot of reading.   One thing I do not get about people who take that position is that evangelicals are all about salvation by faith alone by Christ alone by grace alone - unless you are transgender.  Then you cannot be saved, these say, unless you do the work of un-transgendering yourself.  Which is, practically, impossible.  I have read the "solutions" and I don't buy them, obviously, because they do not work.    In evangelicalism salvation is by faith alone, Christ alone, grace alone, without any merit of our own.  That means, to an evangelical, we come to Christ as we are,  in the words of a glorious hymn,   1 Just as I am, without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me, and that thou bidd'st me come to thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   2 Just as I am, and waiting not to rid my soul of one dark blot, to thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   3 Just as I am, though tossed about with many a conflict, many a doubt, fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   4 Just as I am, thou wilt receive, wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; because thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   We do not clean ourselves up BEFORE we come to Christ.  We let Him clean us up AFTER we come to Him.    Those who insist that transgender people cannot be saved are actually preaching another Gospel, a Gospel of works, and have wandered away from the glorious Gospel into works.  That is strong but true.   Struggling with legalism and grace, I have found more of God's mercy and grace available to me because I struggle with being transgender and seeking His resolution of it.  Which, not having the struggle, I would not have needed to seek Him earnestly on this.

Eventually, (especially if you start T,) things will even out. The excitement you feel is from everything being so new. Finally knowing yourself and having others recognise you can be thrilling. However, because it is your natural state of being, eventually that wears off. There's nothing exciting about it anymore because it's "just you." (Which is a perfect thing to be!) This, however, can lead to disappointment. Trust me when I say however, that that disappointment and jarring reaction to wrong pronouns will go away, and you'll once again feel comfortable in yourself.

I love long hair. I'm wanting my hair to touch the floor. I guess we shall see how long it can get.

I wear a wig most of the time.  But I can get by with my natural (shoulder length) hair if I wear a hat or something to cover the mostly empty top. Unfortunately that train has left the station, sigh.

Oddly enough, just this weekend I read some of my poetry at a local event.  In this case it was a Pride group so I didn't have a particular advantage.  But I have read in more inclusive (of cis people) situations, and been fairly well received.  Let's face it, cis people do deserve an equal chance.   I suppose this might be a problem in the future.
    • Ivy
Of course we do.  The few friends I do have are almost exclusively cis or trans women. I think I could have a relationship with a man, but he would be kinda "other" to me.  Could be interesting though. I never have understood guys - even when I was trying to be one.
