A Short Poem I Wrote

so i wasnt feeling really good about anything the other night and i wrote this poem.

A coma would sound nice about now. escaping this depression, feeling worthless and alone.

I always make it through, I just find another how. Im ready for my therapy session. Its just a call away on my phone.

I can't go till january though, I wish I wasn't in this position.

even then, I I still couldn't transition.

I feel that even though I have a lot of "friends",

I never fit in with their life and their trends.

I sit in a dark room thinking to myself, why was I born this way?

I hope that in the kinda near future every thing will be okay.

Am I supposed to live like this forever? I hope not.

I just wish this life would get at least a little better.

For now I will just look to the sky, take a deep breath, and try not to think...

About getting high, and my blissful death.

Even in this semi-suicidal depressed state of mind,

I will go to work tomorrow with a smile on and act like im one of their kind.

Even though, im not and never will be.

My day will come where I can finally be free.

soo...yah. i hope it was ok.

Very lovely poem katie :) Very heartfelt. I liked your line of hope at the end of the poem :)

Sweetie, you will be free. Keep working on moving to be yourself. Each and every little step that you take is a true milestone and victory.

More importantly, with each step, no matter how small, makes you happier.

Love

Brenda

Like Brenda, this is my favorite line in a nice poem....

And I know that putting things down in a poem helps us to better cope with the things that we write about!

Thanks, Sweetheart!

LOVE
