ok so like, i always feel like im about to get in trouble all the time. like, i really dont get in trouble at all but i always feel like im gonna screw up and sumthins gonna happen.

did/does anyone else feel like this?

i really cant stand being in internal issues are getting worse daily. but i hate always having this weight on my heart all the time.

Have you seen a gender therapist yet? I think that you seem to have some anxiety and talking it out could help...especially with a therapist.

I am retired military and did 2 tours in Vietnam. I had some problems afterwards before there was a name for Post Traumatic Stress and survived. I'm not sure of your question. If I knew a little more I might be able to help. Donna Jean may be a good bet if you want to talk.

I always feel that I’ve screwed up, am screwing up, have screwed up. Its not part of the military experience per se, for me it’s the after effects of cronic emitional child abuse. My entire life, my dad puts me down every chance he gets. No matter what, I’m wrong. Growing up with him for a father has left me with absolutely no confidncence at all. Even when everyone around me says I’m the expert I feel like I’m the biggest idiot in the room.

Now, the military can evoke those same feelings,espcially when a senior nco is screaming at me.

I have had the same feeling, however I attribute it to my transgenderness. I remember that at about the age of four my older brother made fun of me for playing with dolls. From that day forward I always was judging my behavior against a stereotype of male behavior. Often in new situations my natural tendencies led me astray and society pushed back uncomfortably reinforcing a lack of confidence in myself.
