Im new here! I am a 33 year old m2f. I was taking hormones for about six months and had to stop. I had to come up with the money to get custody of my daughter. Right now i have custody of her but the sad part is im going to lose her again due to my utilities being cut off. The judge told me to keep a stable place and a stable job and keep it fit to live which includes utilities. I just can t believe im going to lose her over a 300 dollar utility bill. especially after paying out 3 grand to get custody of her. I have problems at work so i cant get ahead. I got demoted cause they said my position is no longer needed! Yeah right they are holding it against me for being t/s. So they cut back my hours and dollars per hour. Which i got worked out and i will make more money in a week or so when i start a new position. But it wont be in time to get the utilities paid. I am so sad and extremely depressed right now! If i lose her again it will be the well lets just say its not going to be a happy life. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated My babys name is Hannah and she is 5. Shell be 6 in January! Ive pretty much exhausted every option i could think of. Ive even gace blood and tried asking the state for help but they say i mkae to much! Yeah right! Most the people including my family dont talk to me anymore since i came out. Id love to go get another job if i could get a babysitter in the pm hours. Ive found a few but they want so much for watching her. I just couldnt afford it and it would be worth the second job. Id be paying it all to gas and babysitting! Ill be fine in a few weeks i just need to figure a way to get the utilities paid so i dont lose her and have to goto court again and them making me feel like i am a low life father trying to be something i am not. It was pure hell in there. This isnt a scam or a lie. I could show you proof of all of this. I would do anything to save her feom leaving me again!!! Please any suggestion??Please

Thank you Macke

Hello Macke,

Do you have any friends you could borrow the money from? Have you tried getting a short term personal loan from a bank or lending company?

Ive tried it it. I have no credit to get a bank loan. I have no colateral for any other loan>my car is to old for a title loan. I tried to sell it but i got no offers. It is a 1984 cavalier with 200000 miles on it. With rust all over it! I do wok but it dont make much. If it wasnt for court and fees id be fine. I dont want anyone here thinking im a scam artist or a liar. I will show anyone proof who doesnt believe me! Ive stopped buying hormones ive been out for a few weeks. I feel horible. Any other suggestions?Thank you!

Hello Macke,

The only other options I can think of would be to go to the Salvation Army or the church you attend. Most churches have funds set up to help the needy. I doubt that either would give you cash in hand but they might be willing to pay some of your utility bills directly. I would think that you would have to have proof that you are indeed in need of help before they would, though. You have my sympathy. I hope all works out for you.

Macke last signed in on the 18th of January 2008 and has not been seen since. Although I hope I'm wrong, I suspect that this might have been a scam.

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

Anyone play war and order on their phones?

I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!
