After Shaving Are The Bumps Noticable? O.o

Depends. If you get a lot of big, red bumps, then yes, they are very noticeable. But you might only get a few here and there, or they may be small. In that case you can probably get away with them better. I guess the real way to find out is to shave and see.

If you press too hard hon, you can get bumps and/or a rash. That will be noticable at first. Now hon, if you keep at it,you will find that your skin gets acclimated to shaving and you develop skill in shaving so that you no longer get bumps and rashes.

Practice, Practice, Practice.

Brenda is correct that is takes a lot of practice to get it down with no bumps showing up after shaving. The one thing to remember is to go with the grain so that it doesn't irritate the skin. You might even put lotion on it afterwards to soothe the skin.

I've been shaving my legs for a year now and the bumps occur every time. Some of them even bleed. My skin simply will not get used to, and I've tried at least four different brands/types of razors. My face, for whatever reason, doesn't suffer from the bumps. But everywhere else does.

Two words...Bikini Zone. It's a medicated Gel (or creme) that makes those bumps go away! Usually overnight, for me. I use it all over my legs after shaving, and again once or twice the following day. It's a miracle product, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's just starting to shave new areas. It's not that expensive, well worth it for the results.

Give it a shot! The worst that can happen is you're out 5 or 6 bucks.

Hmmm sweetie,

I would expect that after a year that your legs are used to being shaved. May I suggest that you use moisturizer on your legs before you go to bed. In the morning, after a hot shower, lather your legs up good with plenty of soap. Then, carefully, slowly and lightly shave your legs. Use smooth, even, long strokes up your calves and thighs.

I hope you have better results. It seems to me that your legs are too dry when you try to shave.

Hope this helps hon :)

Oh, one more thing that I may not have made clear.....

I shave my legs practically everyday. Sometimes I go a day or two without shaving because of whatever, but I normally shave everyday.

Shaving everyday is the key to success over time. One cannot just shave once in a while. That won't work. One must shave consistently everyday.

Brenda :)
