Ok i recently stopped taking herbal hormones (because i realized the downsides to it....thanks people) and i hope to start taking HRT soon.

but i have started getting a more feminine figure.

now i take ballet as a male (they wont let me go as female) and they dont know im tg.

and i been wearing sweatshirts in class for the past couple weeks (its against the dress code),

and im running out of excuses. any ideas on how i can hide my feminine figure for this class?

Before HRT you must have done at least 3months of RLE (Real Life Experience) as your 'desired' gender. Then the therapist will prescribe you HRT after a psychological assessment which basically is making sure your ready. If you are under 18 it will require parental consent. If you are unable to live full time in society and at home the chances are that they will unlikely put you on HRT until you are able to. I wish you all the best lots of love hugs and kisses

Samantha it doesn't work that way over here. I'll let Laura or Mary Ellen explain further.

Okay. Well let me add then that things are much more individual over here. The key of course is parental support. Some lucky kids start medication to stop puberty very early. The SOC say HRT can commence at 16, but I know of a couple girls who started estrogen at 14!!! But it all starts with parental support and knowledgeable medical professionals. SRS is done after the patient turns 18 as most surgeons won't touch you until then.

Hormone blockers can be started as young as ten with parental permission. We have some parents in support meetings who have allowed it with therapist approval. Actual hormones can be given at 16 either through parental permission or emancipation.

Kelly,

A good compression t-shirt should do the trick for you. You should be able to google and find them. Feel free to send me a message if you need any help.
