Something That Touched My Heart

Today at school I was sitting at the Starbucks there. Something came over me in my previous class (math ugh) and I started writing my life story in a short autobiographical essay. One of my fraternity brothers came in and sat down next to me while I was writing. He is a fellow writer and is really interested in reading it when it is done (boy will he be surprised!) Well, as we were discussing different writing techniques, a couple of girls came and sat down at the sofa across the room from us. Well I didnt think much of it, till one girl put her head on the shoulder of the other and the other started to comfort her. It grabbed my interest because it was obviously someone in distress. As I looked up at them, I noticed the one that was in pain wasn't quite right... then it dawned on me. I was looking at a fellow TS, and she was obviously having problems coping with something that life had thrown at her. Every urge in my body wanted me to go up to her and ask her to proof read my essay and then encourage her to be strong. I wish my fraternity brother was not there with me then I could have. He would not have judged me for doing what I wanted to, but right now I cant afford being outed to my close friends here yet ><

Hopefully I will see her again sometime soon and I can go up to her and encourage her and maybe get her story....

I wish society treated us better here in the South East :(

Yeah, I know that there's this one girl in my campus through others that dresses just like me and is very shy...and i really wanna help her out to get out of her shell (especially everybody says she looks great). :P

Other than that, I used to know a girl who was really young (14 about?) and already dressed like a girl who came by the place I work at. She was a regular actually...and although my co-workers kinda acted rough on her, I scolded them for doing that after closing hours. :P I was like "look, she's not a freak...lots of people go through that. Don't even joke about it. It's not a choice."

This was about a year and a half ago...and it's been a while since I saw her. Hope she's doing okay :-\

I hope she feels better and remembers she can only go strength to strength. I will wish her all the best in life and hope that she comes through the other side in every distress that is thrown at her lots of love cuddles and kisses

Keep your eyes out for her.

I am sure she would enjoy meeting a sister also.

There is nothing quite as nice as talking to another girl.

Someone who understands exactly where you are coming from.

I hope you get the chance to become friends.

Support is huge when a girl is transitioning.

Hugs,Angie.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!

Things hit the fan today. I was reminded that "this is not a gender fluid establishment."   I had changed my preferred name and gender at the hospital on their app. My x-ray report came in with my preferred name and gender. It was not appreciated by the centre. 😬
